  • In this video we show you how to break down and rebuild a yamaha warrior 350 motor, from the head assembly to the block and piston.
    we also upgraded to our 366 forged big bore cylinder kit and port and polished head. please check your owners manual for correct break in procedure after your motor is rebuild. it is fairly easy to rebuild one of these motors. you can do it in the atv but find it easier to pull the motor out in order to do so. valve gaps are also different depending on the type of camshaft you are using. break in oil is also highly recommended.

    You all really need to do a full engine build . Bottom end top end and transmission. Full build. So we cam see both sides of inside the cases and transmission crank and so on. Plus a valve system and cam.

      we did do the cam and valve system in this build
      as for the bottom end we could probably do a small video on it as i have one i am going to be opening.

      if you are using a stock cam i go with 0.08 in and 0.18ex but always check with repair manual

    Why did the valve covers need to come off and can you explain what you were doing at the very of the end of the video with the flat metal tool (I don’t know what it’s called)

      Part number 91317-08050-00 they hold your gasket head and block all in line till you get the main head bolts in

    Does this kit come with the valves already installed in the head? Or is that the head that y'all took off the engine?

    • @zoomzoompartsllc
      @zoomzoompartsllc  Před 11 měsíci

      The head we sell dose not have valves or rockers in it

    Are you using a oem cylinder head or aftermarket? Was always iffy on the aftermarket heads for the warrior.

      Would depend on your cam but with stock cam I go 0.18mm and 0.08mm

    What about bottom end? I think my noise is rod bearing

    • @zoomzoompartsllc
      @zoomzoompartsllc  Před rokem

      we did show a open bottom end in one of the videos but had no reason to open this on you can check your crank and rod bearing without taking it apart. if that checks out it could be a counter balancer bearing and that would have to be torn down
