Revenge of the tires! MOXC Round 2 redemption
We are back once again for round 2 Moxc racing in Lincoln, Mi at Dirt inc.
Day started off very foggy but the mx race was a treat to watch! Nothing like some high flying action to start off the day. weather turned out perfect and track was prime. Not as bad as last years race and avoided the tires every lap. unfortunately David's and Trevor's camera didnt record much due to bad camera angles and camera turning off.

mine didnt have a needle bearing. its just a bushing of some sort. is this aftermarket? id assume not since bearings are the better thing to go with.
should have a bearing have not seen one with a bushing
I picked up this unit for a 2003 warrior hooked it up the way the video shows. Hooked up the battery and the back light on the display stays on. Doesn't make a difference if the key is n or off. Any idea's as to why that is?

I done this about 4 times but for some reason the clutch isn’t engaging or disengaging brand new everything and new cable as well
make sure you lined up the marks on the back of plate with the mark on the inner basket. also make sure you clock the lever
my spring on my clutch arm is messing up and is it ok for it to be lose lol?

I got a 400ex with a big bore 440 kit and other work but I’m looking to build what I think could be a 1 of 1 air cooled grizzly 450. I’m thinking about getting the 446 big bore stroker kit, sending my grizzly crank and the hot rod crank to Mr crankshaft and asking him to put the rod from the hot rod onto the grizzly crank. Port and polish, HD springs, .400 or higher cam, exhaust, airbox mods, kibblewhite valves hoping for it to be in the mid to low 30s. It’s a quad I’ve had since new in 08 so I got attachment to it. I’m planning on making it a mini mudder with some 27” tire’s something I can mess around on or throw a buddy in who doesn’t have a machine if they come over and I still wanna ride

I second Trevor's call-out. If Pete Hager wants to save sport quads so bad, this is the place he should be trying to promote sport quads and the need for manufacturers to start producing sport quads again. All that joy riding he does is just that. Ill add to Trevor's call-out - Since Pete is only used to wide open, easy flowing trails, he should join next years round 1 at this track in Harrison. Not Copemish or any other track. Only Camp Deer Trails. Sabo is humble and welcome anywhere and anytime.

I'll keep the skid plate even though it was bugging me, lol. Hopefully, by next race, I'll have more ride time as this race was my 1st ride with the changes. And ofcourse if needed I will go back up on the tire size
I cut half my xfr skid plate off due to the same issue. So all I have is a skid under the sprocket. It's been working great since round 1 of 2023.

Yeah that's not the way my stator ligns up, and I also noticed his case doesn't have a slot were the bearing and seals are in the case. Totally different
