@Kebab 4470 nah strelok is better than major d. strelok is in zone like fish in water who can move through the most dangerous places of the zone and strelok killed hundreds of enemies and dangerous mutans, commited a lot of feats which made him a legend while d. is just a spec ops soldier who can't travel without garik or his friend and tries to explore some areas to collect his puzzle. too bad strelok was nerfed in cop. Strelok had to start from the beggining again after becoming the marked one and he succeeded by making his way to the top again. Zone and stalking is in his blood. Than he fights the Zone/C-cons. for the second time and this time he wins.
I swear, this music gives me chills every single time- I'm currently on my 14th playthrough, and I'm STILL discovering new stuff! Best game series ever!

The protagonists in the S.T.A.L.K.E.R series are beasts. Overlooking everything else, I don't understand how they don't need to piss or poop regularly.
major D. is simply a superman in health, i remeber falling from the top of the building in which you go to the laboratory in pripyat(forget the name, so long since i played) it was about 6 floors, when i fell i didn't die, i had ONE BIT OF HEALTH left, what the hell major? don't you have bones? don't they break? ARE YOU A SLIME OR SOMETHING?!
From 1:20 to 1:42 = godly. I don't know why they didn't make this part the main "theme", it would have rocked like the "Mission Impossible" or "Pink Panther" or "Once upon a Time in the West theme". Well, perhaps one day they'll recognise the potential this small part has :-/
In multiplayer i wish it was like 2 people are playing and they choose what zone they want to go to (and it has to be the same) and they choose their factions and its just like singleplayer but there is another person on.
Good ol Major D. Can survive emissions if he's taken the zombie powder enough times, refused a desk job in favor of a permanent position in the Zone. I think the Major has a bright future ahead of him.
This game rocks! On a 10 ball scale giving 10. Various graphics settings, orignality, great gameplay, in a sense unseen content (artifacts and so), plot understandable, fev but kinda cool cutseens, all kinds of weapons (even a secret ultimate weapon called "Gauss Rifle" or "Proect #62"). Finished it already miself. Recomending for all who like figting mutants with claws the sise of a printer, bandits, military and zombies with devastating machine guns and rpg's and dangerous anomalies.

Yeah SoC Pripyat. Why would you never go back to the Zone? Even if you somehow don't find replay value in any of the games, the best game has yet to come out - S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Lost Alpha.

Theese are very good games. just started on the Clear Sky game. Theese are unique games and got their entirely own atmosphere. I find it unfair that people even try to compare this to more direct action games like call of duties and god forbid... unreal tournament/quake like games. :\

I'm just afraid with next game they might screw up with something(as it happened with Deus Ex for example, but I hope Deus Ex will redeem itself with upcoming game)
@boredgunner I agree. I don't like cover systems much, either. The only cover systems that I truly found very enjoyable were the ones in Splinter Cell: Conviction and the first person one from Killzone 2. Otherwise, they're an unnecessary complication for a perfectly simple and effective system.
the only thing that sucked in the game is the fact the city was to small... it should have been the whole city since i dont think well ever go back to the zone :(
