I just discovered Skating Polly a few months ago and was floored by how young they were when they started. Subscribe to their channel and go back and watch the video of their first ever gig. I love how she says that things just come naturally. In my opinion, it's called talent. All great artists have it naturally, otherwise we'd all be doing it!

I wonder what grunge she's referring to as cheesy. I remember pop and glam being cheesy, but not grunge. Maybe those underground Seattle bands that never made a big splash. Perhaps she's talking about pop alternative from the late 90s. Either way, she's lucky she missed the 80s.
