    Bryan, I can tell you the appeal of Friday the 13th for many of us - it was the buubies. I wasn't even a horror fan - but when I was 13 or 14, my friends and I would always watch the latest Friday the 13th movie. Keep in mind this was pre-internet days

      yeah that makes sense. I remember in one of them he was hooked on a chain and drowned and my brother and his friends were arguing if it was upside down or rights up. This was like 1989, if you know which one it was. PS pre-internet argument
