    I was there, in Dublin, in 2016, for the centenary of the Easter Rising ; great and moving celebration ! Big respect for all the men and women who fought, and unfortunately died, for a free Ireland from a Frenchman who loves this beautiful Country for so many years now ! Erin Go Bragh !

    A hundred years ago the Dubs jeered the captured rebels as they were marched through the streets, waving their little Union Jacks.

      thats like someone in France saying 100 years ago the irish lined the streets jeering the rebels waving little union jacks. perspective nautilus. pearse wanted to redeem dublins honour. where was the support promised to these dub rebels from outside dublin? duh

      +Nautilaus 1972 what are ya talking about maybe one or two in the posh part of Dublin over the south side who probably had husbands in the British army the real Dubs who had to live in slums were to busy surviving and most of the rebels were Dubs in anyway ordinary Dubs were shot on the spot cause they were accused of hiding rebels at least Dublin actually rebelled
