Stopping is more important than acceleration because anyone can push a bike and all it needs is to pull the trigger but not everyone can master proper braking technique
Agreed..
One thing I suggest for beginner riders for moving the bike in first gear is to give a little bit of acceleration before releasing the clutch. In few bikes the bike doesn't move just by releasing clutch specially in 125 cc category.
So just give a bit of acceleration and release clutch slowly when the bike start moving ahead, then release more clutch and accelerate more in same amount.

Hi sir!happy diwali !! I bought a Hero passion pro bs6 last September. I have learnt riding it properly having followed your 'learn riding bike in one month' series. Apart from that Your videos on highway riding, using half & full clutch, riding in heavy traffic etc have helped a lot while experiencing different road conditions at beginning. At present I'm working on counter steering. Please make videos on how to see mirror at night and how to properly use of upper dipper, passing light.

@@karanthakur4014 I've learnt to ride on my own bike. Previously I knew some basics how to shift to first gear from neutral for going. I didn't even have the confidence to ride my own bike from showroom to my home. But as the time passed I started following Prak sir's videos. And now I can ride quite confidently.

Actually I'm planning for a bike next month and i don't know how to ride properly i mean im good in balancing and all stuff but clutching gear shifting and all so that's why asking you hope you understand
@@karanthakur4014 the best tip I would give you if you are learning bike as Prak sir says it is best to ride on same roads at different times of a day. It actually helps a lot to gain confidence and experience. The rest about clutch, brake, gear, uphill, downhill etc you will get many videos.
Hi sir. I have learnt basics of riding bike. But mere ghar me koi bike nae thi. Aur koi sikhaane waala bhi nae tha. Isiliye maine new bike purchase ki hai. TVS raider.

Yes you can downshift while standing still, but I would suggest always try to downshift while slowing down and when you finally stop you should be either in Neutral or First gear based on where you are stopping.
The more you practice, the more confidence you will get in slowing down in traffic lights, etc.
