I only watched the first 48 seconds… how do I get the bike off my neighbors roof
😂😂😂😂😂
🤣🤣🤣🤣
😂😂😂😂😂😂
It's in the first 48 seconds of the 7th video
😅 Follow the same procedurw in reverse order
I think you should mention about rolling off throttle when change gear, I bet lots of new riders, especially people don’t know how to drive manual cars, will hold the throttle while changing gears.
You can actually hold the throttle and change gears on a 125cc bike.
@@phantasma9391 If you have shares in a clutch manufacturer sure, go ahead..
@@pinkyn0se yes I do thank you.
This is me 100% I have just started riding, I’ve never driven a stick shift in my life and I’m trying to learn but right now I am pretty much stuck in first just going up and down my street to practice turning and things like that. But I’m gonna need to go from 1st to 2nd very soon
Soooo... I should let off the throttle when changing gears?
Components 1:57 Switching on 5:44 shifting 6:52 starting up 6:58 friction zone 8:27 it's moving forward 9:02 brakes 9:38 Rear brakes and need clutch 11:22 to second gear 12:46 hold clutch when parking
I started with my brothers motorcycle it’s manual with out clutch
3-5 mins worth of info for so long?

Extremely great job explaining this to us beginners could not have explained it any better
I did my CBT a month ago and didn’t pass because the instructor wasn’t happy with my gear shifting/ clutch control. But honestly as an instructor I wasn’t happy with how little help and instruction he provided to me as a first time rider (who doesn’t drive a car either). I feel like this 15 min video was more helpful than the 4 hour course I spent that day 🙄😂🤙🏻
I feel that! I went to my CBT a little over a month ago and pretty much as soon as i got the bike moving i dropped it on my foot! Was just starting to go round in circles to learn to control speed using the clutch, had too much speed and didn't turn enough to make the corner and was heading for the fence. So i braked without straightening the wheel. It wasn't the instructors fault, and i knew my mistake as soon as i did it. Gear shifting foot straight under the fuel tank. thankfully i had decent boots on, i didn't break any bones and the boot constrained it so it didn't swell (until i got home and took it off anyway). Didn't realize how badly i fucked my foot up so i continued on with CBT, but it definitely effected my learning a fuck ton. As i wasn't getting it, i was getting frustrated and tired which then made it worse.
Im glad my instructor was super nice and offered to come in another day for me to give the last little bit of time i needed. Which was great because i couldn't walk properly for a good few days. Finally passed after that! ...then immediately went on holiday for 3 weeks so I'm watching this as a refresher before i get home to my bike
I think I talked about panic breaking while wheel is turned… drop! Bummer
I completely understand, luckily my course was cancelled due to ice and rescheduled so I did get a chance to do the first day - sit on the bike, get it going, and kind of get a feel for the clutch and friction zone and neutral to 1st, thank you for pointing out what you do to make it stall and not just that it does lol - now I've got more time to watch videos like this. My instructor was very kind but extremely hands off and considering everybody else in the class has been riding dirty for years I had hoped he would have a little more attention to give. Lol it's okay though, I do wish I had access to a bike to practice beforehand. Decided not to buy one before I got a feel to see if I was comfortable
(I also dropped the bike on myself oops! Oops I am a pretty small person but makes for some extra respect/caution for the processes)
I failed my CBT (UK) a week and a half ago due to the same reason, but I’m 32 with 13 years road experience. It was just the clutch control that was the issue, I felt the instructor was a bit harsh on me… but I have another one booked for this Saturday. Also I have a Yamaha MT125 pending collection from dealer, I want to be able to pass my CBT before so I can legally ride the bike home myself
They don't cancel MSF courses cause bad weather. Did ours in extreme wind gust, rain, then extreme heat. First time was snowing, I ended up dropping the course due to work conflict.
I really appreciate you showing what the foot break and foot shifting looks like. No one in my family or friends ride motorcycles but I want to. A lot of the motorcycle language is completely foreign to me like clutch, throttle, torque etc are extremely unfamiliar words but this video and many others are so helpful I’m so thankful you help people like me that don’t have any mentors. I have a drivers license already but I feel more connected to motorcycles it’s also a great skill to have. Thank you very much for the videos.
the most important thing everyone must do no matter what is take the fucking classes. they will save your life.
My favourite part of this video was when he said putting the bike in 2nd will get you to 60. My 125 just about gets to 60 in 4th
😂
At the beginning this guy sounded exactly like a military recruiter lol
Thanks for this, it's good to see how a seasoned rider handles their motorcycle.
Thanks! Stay tuned for video #2 🙏 🤙
@@PetroHead as a fellow short rider handling or more like wrangling a big bike, I find your videos really helpful. Finesse in clutch and throttle control are important.
Currently riding an automatic scooter but this video is so elaborate and informative which encourages me to upgrade to a higher cc manual bike. Big ups to you my sir!
Same with me. I have a silver wing 600 and just recently bought a c50t boulevard. I’m having some trouble with the clutch. These videos have been a lot of help
I looked at a lot of motorcycle videos as a beginner rider and I must say I believe your videos are the best keep up the good work.
This video was made perfect! I’m driving an older bike! I’ve always had trouble with my gears, but this video made me feel more confident in switching better.
I like the lights they are so bright..
Never rode it before. I'm impressed about the detailed explanation and feel quiet confident. Good work brother. Thanks!!
It's almost 3 days from the day I started learning how to ride a motorcycle but it's not easy for me to use clutch for changing gears.
But I hope sooner or later I will be able to change them accordingly.
thanks for this tutorial coz I'm understanding it better coz I started to ride a bike for the first time.
I'm fond of riding motorcycles and I hope that one day I will own it.☝️
I recently got a scooter, with automatic transmission, and my biggest dream is now to eventually ride a proper bike with more speed. Such an amazing feeling. 😊
Thanks for a very useful video!
Thanks man for this video I was so confused today in the bike class but I'm clear after seeing your video keep it up dude♥️🔥
Appreciate the tips, just fell onto an opportunity to own a bike for the first time. No idea how to ride so this was a great intro to understanding how to crawl.
I appreciate the different video view points when shifting. Haven't seen that in other videos I watched. Very helpful.
Thankyou so much. Very clear and concise. Gonna start learning to ride in just over a month. Been driving for years, but wanted to do something new and fun🇦🇺
Amazing tutorial. And a beautiful bike.
THANKYOU!!. I have been riding a automatic scooter for like 5 years and iam planning on getting a cruiser bike. Its way up in cc and completely different riding style and idk how to ride a manual. The test drive was embarrassing to say the least. But i found that riding a manual, is super f-in amazing and fun. This video helped me alot on learning how to ride a manual and how clutches work. This helped me alot on getting the basics. Very detailed and simple to understand. Saved in Playlist and subbed. Thank you for the great video!!
I'm riding tons of bikes for 7 years now.. but still watching this.. good content. ❤
I'd simply like to say I'm a soon to be motorcyclist I'm looking at my 1st bike and I will be a new driver and I can't believe it but he read my mind on topics I didn't think he'd cover and even had visual layout of the the shifting concept which you guessed it he had me covered 😂
Such an amazing video I understood everything. Thank you !
Thank you for sharing, it’s rather thorough for a beginner already. I’m sure there’s more to it and I shall look forward to ur next video. 😊

As someone who is considering purchasing my first bike after driving a car for 28 years I can say this video is excellent. Just a suggestion, take the camera closer to the digital screen as I couldn’t make it out in the video. I do understand it’s not the same for every bike. Thank you!
Video was just fine .. his speedometer wasn’t the point of this video ..

Thanks!
🇰🇪🇰🇪 Nairobi, Kenya
really helpful thanks
Rich information thanks
Thx for your advice
I start learning gears next week...trying to prepare myself 😅. Thank you
For someone who never used a clutch before, I think it's a good idea to crank up the idle enough to take off without stalling and even shift into second. That way they can get used to how the clutch works with a few practice runs before cracking the throttle on their new Hayabusa.
Thanks for the info!
Anytime! Let me know if you have any requests.
Been riding again for a few months... some great content here. :)
I like your bike!
Thanks and enjoy 😉
Nice informative video
I drive a manual transmission car, and I think it'll be very easy the first time I ride a motorcycle... Thanks a lot for the lesson
Excellent video especially for beginners like me
Its why I make them! Check the other two in the series.
Good tutorial 👍
Thank you so much. Especially with showing hoe to get the neutral
before riding a motorcycle, this video seemed a little bit confusing. but i just had my first ride and now it all makes so much sense. get out there if u can people!!
Thanks after 30 years got a bike again, just writing before re watching, In Canada as well are those courses offered glad I took one 30 years ago before I drove my first m-cycle, the sites you see on a bike are amazing, kinda sucks but to stay alive those sights can only receive a head turn glance as life is so important and getting where you want to go is about getting there not about not ever going anywhere again so you might see a beautiful sight a second longer than a passing glance... Please
Thank you for this. I'm gonna ride for the first time.
Now only i watch your video it was very helpful for me
Good Explaination
