- The Quran speaks about how man is made, and from where he goes out.
- It mentions the Backbone and the Genital Woman's eloquently, explained using dictionary.
- As a doctor, he explained how scientifically production is made and how the fluid is formed.

There's no point arguing with close minded and ignorant people. Where I work, we have a number of paper bags for carrying stuff with varying sizes. Now just yesterday, a guy had a cake order and we packed it in a box. Now this box and the cake within it were quite huge, so they wouldn't fit even in the biggest bag. So when asked for a bag, I said there ain't one, and no one makes paper bags bigger than that. The customer started to act as if I was making an excuse, and that he works in such and such place and knows such and such place where they make bigger bags. At that time, I remained quiet because I didn't know whether he was right or wrong. Later on, I confirmed with the owner of the business that you won't find paper bags bigger than the ones we had because there are no looms designed to make bigger ones and there's no point making bigger ones either because such a huge paper bag would tear if an item of it's size was put in it. In conclusion, there are people, who don't have complete knowledge but will pretend and lie as if they are experts.

This verse talks about fertilization process in the woman fallopian canal, when the fluid of a man and fluid of woman comes together in this fallopian canal which place in an area between the backbone and the ribs . the verse doesn't say the fluid " comes from " but it says " comes between ", so the verse clearly talks about the creation of a human being which happen when fluid comes between the backbone and the ribs which happens clearly in fallopian canal .

Taraib in the Quran reffers to testicles & ovaries .
So , the liquids from which man is created come from between the backbone/dna & the testicles/ovaries .
Adam & jesus were both created from "a Turab " .
Turab in the verses of embryology reffers to gametes ( the ovum ) .
So , Turab ( gamete/ovum/sperm) comes from Taraib (testicles/ovaries) .
The verse can have double meaning : it may be a reference to black smokers/hydrothermal vents in oceans. A gushing water which comes from between the core of the earth & the crusts .

Brothers, let me give my opinion on these 2 Quranic verses.When Allah SWT says: "Emerging from between the backbone and the ribs" He no longer speaks for the sperm but speaks about the man mentioned in the verse 5 of the same chapter At-tariq.So, the meaning of the verse is: "(Man-Fetus) Emerging from between the backbone and the ribs (womb of the woman)".
Again, verse 5 is conected with verse 7.
So, in those 3 verses: 5,6 and 7, there is expressed the creation and the birth of the man.
The birth from the womb, because, in the womb, the man is created,formed.

The Study Quran (2017) gives a good explanation on 1501 ; " 6-7: Loins (sulb) and pelvis (tara'ib) are understood by some to refer to the respective parts of the man and the woman, whose sperm and egg form the fetus (T); others restrict them to the male (T, Ts), saying that loins and pelvis refer to the area from which a man's fluid gushes.". Dr Imran should consider purchasing The Study (HarperOne) to keep next to his New Quran from Canada.
Please, don't explain the old explanation of the books, you need to understand old scholars may understood according to their time knowledge, when you say the man fluid gushes from the Pelvis, this is against simple knowledge every one knows, testicles are responsible of man fluid ...... so the verse is not talking about that it talks about fertilization process which happen in fallopian canal when the fluid of man and women gushing into this place and fertilization happen and this is the first process of human creation, and this fallopian canal situated in a place between the backbone and the ribs .

assalamu alaykum. I've seen other meanings for taraaib. i understand its an archaic world. And there is also an explanation from zakir naik and even the site IslamQa which says that what the verse means is the embriologic development of the ovaries and testicles. and that taraaib would mean ribs.
and also the explanation that it could mean the place where the necklace goes on a woman.
The islamqa site said that the correct view is that taraaib can mean feminine bone, but especifically the collar bones from the woman.
and also can mean ribs both from women and men. however, they said that in this verse its refering to both the backbone and ribs of the man... and both the backbone and ribs of the woman. and its talking about the embriologic development of the testicles and ovaries in both men and women, which in the embryo are in the upper abdominal area.
I dont mean to cause fitnah, but to understand the meaning or meanings of this verse. As i've heard of verses that can have more than one meaning, complementary meanings. Without contradiction. And from what i read, there is more than 1 meaning given to this verse, from different people. And i find that 2 or maybe 3 of them could be right at the same time. as they all fit with the language (although im not an expert nor i speak arabic) and science. There are even people like brother mansur from speakers corner which say that the verse is talking about the baby when it says that it proceeds from between the backbone and ribs, and not talking about the water. I would like more references about this matter, please.

Both iQuran and Holy Quran apps translate the word this way instead of “pelvic arch”??
