- Here are the very first original funding credits from the first season of "The Magic School Bus" back in 1994 :)
This particular variant, however, was only used for ONE episode, that being the series' premiere "Gets Lost in Space". Immediately after the female announcer reads the spiel for the National Science Foundation, she says, "And Microsoft Home", and then the Microsoft Home bumper plays after a brief one-second pause.
For the rest of the series, starting with "For Lunch", there is a brief pause after the announcer reads the NSF spiel, and then she says, "And..." to which the Microsoft Home bumper immediately begins. Everything else remained the same from this version.
As of now, the show's funding credits can be found at the end of most episodes released on the Warner DVDs from 2002-2005, but sadly are removed from the New Video Group DVDs (including the Complete Series, as well as the individual season releases).
That having been said, enjoy it in all of its high-quality 60fps glory! :)

I still always remember the old PBS funding for The Magic School Bus season 1 from back to my young childhood youth, especially from my elementary school years from 1994 to early 1998. Love to watch the cartoon adaptation on PBS.
Good thing I remember The Magic School Bus season 1 fundings on PBS back in my childhood youth, including my time in elementary school.
When The Magic School Bus aired on Syndication, it goes "Major Funding provided by the National Science Foundation"

I first saw this on my "gets lost in space VHS". I thought the voice was pretty creepy. Who agrees with me? like and/ or reply if you do. RIP Joanna Cole (1944-2020).

They even added the South Carolina ETV, Nelvana and Scholastic logo in after the credits.
FUN FACT: Canadian companies can co-produce some shows with PBS stations: WGBH (Arthur, Peep and the Big Wide World, Martha Speaks), WNET (Cyberchase, Franny's Feet), and Maryland Public Television (Zoboomafoo).

The Microsoft Home plug?
I’m playing it in slow motion to see all the pictures better. It looks amazing
Then on later seasons of The Magic School Bus it was just Microsoft because the Microsoft Home brand was discontinued

I think the announcer made a mistake and didn’t understand that the Microsoft Home portion couldn’t come up immediately.
She did?
Ekaterina Lekkas Yes. Pay extremely close attention by watching the credits and listening hard.
