Sam Asghari showed support for his ex-wife Britney Spears after she released her memoir The Woman in Me in a new video from TMZ. A reporter asked Sam, 29, for his reaction to Britney, 41, calling him “a gift from God” in the book as he walked in Los Angeles on Wednesday, October 25. The fitness trainer was very sweet and showed that he was still proud of Britney.

It’s what Britney thinks that matters. He obviously got her through some dark times and we don’t know what their relationship was truly like and it’s none of our business anyway. Happy she felt loved and safe at times that may have been very difficult and stressful. ❤️‍🩹💕🥰
