It always amazes me that fans know what happens in relationships of celebrities that they are actually not a part of.
Her childhood memories are not irrelevant because of a Bad breakup.
We dont truly know what happened there. Who knows if Brit was/wasnt the culprit but we only do know that JT handled it terribly. Regardless, a bigger issue is that if your barely legal sister’s breakup affects your life this much as your only source of stability, you should be looking back at why you were missing that stability rather than blame Brit who was not the parent. Thank Brit for the stability she tried to give you voluntarily and for setting you up with a career you didnt value.

I dont mind JL has a soft spot for JustinT and claims how generous and caring he was. What bothers me is that she doesnt realize he did because he loved Britney and Jamie Lynn was Britney’s world at that time. They both welcomed having her around. Justin wouldnt have been as “close” if Britney wasnt. From the book excerpts out it almost sounds like she thinks he paid special attention to her for her, despite of Britney and not because of her. JL was a child, the only sister of JT’s longtime girlfriend who he adored. When their relationship was over, the contact with JT naturally ended. Talking about the pain that breakup caused you is unfair to both Brit or Justin who are the only ones in the relationship because 1) if its supposed to end, they shouldnt stay for other people. They were prob both hurt too and were both very young 2) the stability of a child should not be attached to your teenage sister’s relationship. Blame your parents for not feeling stability in your house rather than blame Britney for ending a source of stability she is not responsible for providing. Brit was not the parent and she had done enough supporting financially and helping her sister land an acting career. She set her up to succeed.
Their families were close since the Mackey mouse club before Britney got really famous so it's not hard to see how bonds were formed outside of their relationship .

I am touched that Teen Choice Award nominee Jamie Lynn found the strength within herself and her Granmy award winning sister's trust account to persevere and speak her truth. The last few years have been tough for the #193 Billboard charting songstress, having to deal with 2 paparazzi once a month taking her picture cause she had sunglasses on and they got her confused. Mental health effects everyone and I'm glad the straight to DVD actress felt empowered to write about it, while also calling Britney's mental health struggles "erratic."
Nobody chooses their family and this Kid's Choice Award winner did not choose hers. Being forced into the public eye while you're just trying to live a normal life of filming Kraft commercials and vacationing in your 15x Guinness World Record holding sister's condos and petitioning the court to transfer funds from your abused sister's trust account, I literally couldn't imagine. Very grateful that the Nickelodeon Double Dare champion finally got 15 full minutes to speak to Access Hollywood, a symbolic number as it happens to be the same length of her entire career discography.

Absolutely! If that was my sister, I would have been documenting, planning, plotting…on the low, the whole time! When things started to finally happen for Britney, Judas Lynn could have shown up armed and ready to protect and support her sister. She can’t do that bc she looks at Britney with jealousy and disdain! No love for her sister then, and definitely not now.

Reason for the book - I have to make money because my family and myself have lived out of the effort of my sister which we treated as a slave for 13 years but she is free now so I have to work for my own money. Yes, I will be missing all the vacations and luxury homes because my sister as I said before is free and she doesn't want me to continue to free ride. My cult ultra-religious mom is also sad because my sister cut the allowances and doesn't want to pay her lawyer's fees. Attn. J.S.
