    About Disney Dinosaur:
When a meteor shower destroys their home, iguanodon Aladar and his family join a herd of dinosaurs heading for safety. En route, he befriends Baylene, an elderly brachiosaur; Eema, an unstoppable styracosaur; and Neera, a feisty fellow iguanodon. Together, they must stand strong amidst supply shortages, the threat of carnotaur attacks, and Aladar's run-ins with the herd's stubborn leader, Kron.
Join the action-packed adventure of a group of dinosaurs overcoming enormous challenges through courage, loyalty and hope in this special-effects phenomenon. Set 65 million years ago, this is the story of Aladar, an iguanodon who is separated from his own kind and raised by a clan of lemurs, including the wisecracking Zini and the compassionate Plio. When a meteor shower destroys their home, Aladar and his family follow a herd of dinosaurs heading for the safety of the "nesting grounds." Along the way, Aladar befriends Baylene, an elderly brachiosaur; Eema, an unstoppable styracosaur; and Neera, a feisty fellow iguanodon. Together, they must stand strong amidst food and water shortages, the threat of carnotaur attacks, and Aladar's run-ins with the herd's stubborn leader, Kron.

This movie did a lot of things right, and I consider it a masterpiece overall. However, one thing I think it REALLY excelled at was the presentation of fear and panic. Every fight scene or action scene shows that there is truly something at stake, and the characters are all so emotive in portraying that they feel this way. You can really see it in this scene for example at 2:25 with the Pachyrhino and it’s a perfect introduction to what the tone of the film will be. He doesn’t just get chased and caught, he runs scared like everyone else, then you can see him glance and realize that everyone else is outrunning him, and finally it’s all he can do to just make eye contact with the thing that is imminently about to kill him while he begins panicking and hyperventilating. A truly fantastic movie where every detail is thought out

2:21 - 2:28 Looking back a couple of times at the opening scene of this film, It looks as if the carnotaurus originally chose to catch the mother iguanodon. Lucky she was able to run much faster, resulting in the carnotaurus roaring in frustration and settle onto catching the exhausted pachyrhinosaurus.
It would’ve been a gruesome and dark scene if the carnotaurus did manage to catch up to the mother iguanodon. But at the same time it would probably give the ending scene more depth where Aladar pushes the carnotaurus off the ledge. Aladar unknowingly avenging his biological mother.

Personally, I think Kron is more of a villain than the Carnotaurus is. And he was just following and also preserving the rules of the survival of the fittest and natural selection while Carnotaurus and his mate were simply doing what they have been designed to do by nature. So from the certain perspective, Aladar is more of an antagonist from a certain point of view for not only challenging these views and even unintentionally started a revolution against Kron without even giving the reasons why the old ways should be discarded.

@@ExtremeMadnessX I know that Aladar is not an antagonist. But from Kron's perspective, he is. To him, the survival of the fittest system is still working just fine and he is full believer of it. And then, Aladar suddenly appeared and try to spread the new belief without telling him its merits. And as much as he hated the Carnotaurs, he knows that they are important to the circle of life because too many herbivores can lead to rapid decrease of plants and without plants, they will starved to dead. And that is the point here. To him, the old system still worked just fine and he wanted to maintain the status quo out of fear that new belief might ended up causing the circle of life to break and it might led to all lives in the herd dying.
I'm not a believer of old traditions of anything myself. Believe me, I hated my own society and clearly wanted it to change one way or another. However, I have reasons that are clearly justified to hate my own society. But Aladar is trying to change the system without speaking of the actual grievances or giving the reasons to is not a good way to start a change, let alone justifying the rebellion.

I don't want to sound like a bad guy, but there's something about when the Carnotaurus kills the Pachyrhinosaurus somewhat feels satisfying. The fear in the Pachyrhinosaurus' eyes as its pursuer gets closer. The panting as the herbivore desperately trying to escape till eventually, too late, as the Carnivore slams its jaws, ending the unfortunate Pachyrhinosaurus life as the herbivore let's out a death cry of loss as its being mutilated.
As for rhe Carno, seeing the sheer raw power as it slams its jaws into the unfortunate prey, dragging it like a ragdoll and proceeds to gobble it alive. It shows the raw brutality and savagery of a predator.
Seeing the kill gives you a sense of giving up hope, accept despair and death and just fall while also find the satisfaction behind the gore. Something inside me somehow wants to cheer for the Carnotaurus as it finally kills an innocent herbivore. I keep replaying the kill scene over and over again just to taste the satisfaction of something/someone being killed and defeated. I even play in slow mo just to see it in detail.
I know this is abnormal, and is it really that bad to cheer, root and support the villain instead of the hero? Ever since now I've become an adult, I kept rooting and wishing for the villain to win instead.

There’s actually a behind the scenes explanation for why the Carnotaur is so big here versus Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom. The carnivore dinosaur in this movie was originally going to be a T-Rex. But due to that being done more than once already, the team behind the movie decided to go with the Carnotaur instead in order to make the movie stand out. However the people who made the rigs behind the trex were reused for the Carno(which according to research is WAY bigger than what a Carno is supposed to be, even smaller than the Iguanadon!), and thus the Carno size was adjusted to fit the models used in the movie.
Meanwhile the Carno that appears in Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom is a more size accurate depiction.

It grew up pretty fast and once I had a saddle I took it around to find a better place for us to live... however on the way to the place we ended up at we ran into a carno and a bunch of bugs, so I jumped off and tried to get my parasaur to follow me- it didn't and I thought he was dead, but then I looked behind me and initially thought the carno was chasing me, but no it was my parasaur!
I soon found out that my parasaur had unalived the carno, so I guess you could say my parasaur got well deserved revenge on that carno because of this clip.
