- This is the ultimate guide on how to modify a Mazda 3 from years 2004 - 2009 which is the first generation Mazda 3. I've been building my 2007 Mazda 3 for over 8 years now, and with my knowledge I've put together this ultimate modification guide so you can modify your Mazda 3. Mazda 3 mods can be fun, DIY tasks that don't result in a lot of work so many different people can take on these jobs.

The 07 Mazda 3 was my 1st car as well and you said it perfectly...no regrets and still have it. I hope you continue to make content on this car.
I’ve been watching you for a while now. You’ve taught me so much and I wanted to thank you. Your videos are edited really well and your Chanel deserves more subscribers and views.
I appreciate it!
I have a 1.6 Mazda 3 ts2 for my first car and these vids really help for deciding upgrade options for things like suspension and cosmetics etc, keep up the hard work bro, amazing build
Glad they help!
Informative video as always.
i have 08 mazda 3 and your videos are just awesome to watch!
Thanks! ✌🏻
Again awesome content 🎉🎉
Put my Miata on the road last week.
Need to find a top
That's this year's event.
Can't wait for the merch.
It's finally time for a top eh 😂😂😂
Ive been watching you for awhile now, even having a 1st gen speed 3 right now this makes me want a Sedan 3 just to play with and make a smooth machine like this one.
It's great for the fuel economy but nothing I would forget a Speed for!
It was also my first car ❤️ cheers bro 🥂
Btw I like your wheels and open mouth grille 💯
Thanks brother ✌🏻
Bought a Mazda 3 2.5 liter 2009 and love the thing so much that I stumbled upon your channel and they’re helpful for ideas and just knowing my car before I start adding to it
Enjoy!
Good update on things. This car is so clean and awesome. I like the face lift idea, probably will consider a SP20 sport front bumper from a sedan and do a conversion for my BG.
Cheers ✌🏻
Car looks 🔥🔥 bro. still working on my daily 08 Mazda sedan, the adjustable end links is what I need now (stock ones snapped) with spacers of course. Had this car for almost two years and I still love it like the day I got it lol like you said it’s not fast but it’s *chefs kiss* 😂
Nice!
Iv had my 09 mazda3 iSpeed automatic for 4 years now and I love it! Its at about 182,000miles and still driving great. Im just now starting to consider modding it after realizing I wanna keep it for as long as I can
Heck yeah!
I have a 2007 Mazda 3 2.0 car and swapped the 2.5 in it and that was probably my favorite mod so far
Baller 🔥
the 07 mazda 3 was my first car and it got rear ended and totaled, it always made me smile no matter what and gave its life for mine, i miss being able to drive it everyday
Sorry to hear!
my first buys for my mazda 3 hatch was strut bar, sway bars, coilovers, tires, an intake. Currently saving for the wheels and corksport exhuast
Nice upgrades!
2008 Mazda 3 2.0 manual extended shift stick with straight pipe owner love that sound
cooooooooooool
My son is studying to be a car mechanic. When he told his teacher what I drive, teacher got excited and said that the Mazda 3 2.0l sedans are becoming difficult to find.
I can tell as exterior parts are becoming difficult to find. I want a body kit for mine but nothing too (need for speed) extreme. Just to make her look a bit more closer to the ground. I dont want to roll the fenders. She's low enough atm. Havent been disappointed with performance yet tho. She can be quite fast when I need her to be.
Hello Colton, could you please add a link to the main headlights in the video description? Unfortunately, I can't find them anywhere on eBay.
Funny enough, before you posted the video about your side markers, I had already ordered the same markers on eBay, what a coincidence.
Best regards,
Tom

Do I have to change all of my lights set if I were to get those bumper and lip?
And is the lip also called 07-09 gt?
Fog light housings are meant for that specific bumper, lip is on eBay
Can i put wheel rims from the mazda 3 2nd gen on my mazda 3 1st gen? My car has 15' rims and those from the 2nd gen are 16'
Yes
I personally love the white rims and tires you had before. Your car looks awesome!
Thanks! I miss them sometimes too 🖤
brother I have a 2005 Mazda 3 with a naturally aspirated 2.3L engine, do you think it is very complicated, to put the turbo of a Mazda Speed 2005 ?
Yes, but it's do able
brother please drop the link for that 07-09 GT Bumper that’s what i’m looking forr!
Wrecker yard
What is the name of the grill, brother, how do I look for it, and where?
Duraflax open mouth grille
Hey I was looking for advice about performance mod like a tune do you know any good routes for that for a 2010 mzr
You can’t get much power out of the 2.0 and 2.3 engines it’s not worth it the 2.5 swap Is cheap and they have a better base for mods and turbos
A few tune providers online, headers extremely rare, intakes available and advanced timing options.
@@Thatmz3on estimate how much would that run me
I got a drivability tune on my 2nd gen 2.5 by a guy local to me who specialises in RX-8s, but also works on other Mazdas. Doesn't add much power, especially if it's auto (mine only makes 136.6 WHP with the tune, but I saw a manual one make about 160 WHP with the same tune 🥲), but makes it more enjoyable to drive. It also disables unnecessary stuff like EGR, etc, and allows you to rev it up to 7K RPM (stock only goes up to about 6.5K). This guy tuned plenty of other NA 3s, some of which were track cars that won their class in the Bathurst 6 Hour races here in Australia.
@@DJBla2e01 That's pretty terrible numbers for a 2.5. With a manual, most of them bone stock put out over 150whp easy with matching torque. With full bolt ons & tune, 170-180whp is the norm. If you throw a set of cams in the motor, you're looking at over 200whp and starting to compete with the K series Hondas. If the auto trans sucks that much power, I really feel bad for you.
Do you do engine bay mods? Would be cool to see a video on mods for your engine. 👌🏼
Not a whole lot, only a cold air intake in there ✌🏻
U could leave up the link of the product’s u bought from eBay or stuff in the description
Lots of links in descriptions of videos I have done in the past 😊
Please, what exhaust is it😭
(Could you make a list of the parts on your car?)

czcams.com/video/iiTg5s5Ql84/video.htmlsi=eQa7gKZnuRKM7Hew
where to buy body kits for mazda 3

You know it 😂😂😂😂
ohhh how could you forget the exhaust !
I knoowwwwww 😂
Hello friend, could you help me, if it is worth modifying a Mazda 3 with miles 3601251
Wow that's a well used car!
I liked your videos, and it gave me a lot of effort to modify my car, do you think it would be worth modifying it?
Do you think that a Mazda 3 from these years would hold up as a reliable car today? Assuming that it has 100k miles already on it.
Yes, that's why I still have mine lol
how much hp does this mazda have
148hp
I thought it would have more when u have cold air intake and exhaust done, didnt u tune it after ?
No tune, but they don't add any power and if they did not much at all
Everything but the engine huh? Need to get on that 2.5 swap. You will definitely notice the power difference in a 1st gen sedan. 170-180whp & tq with bolt ons + tune. Over 200whp with a set of cams. It's not MS3 power, but you don't need that much power to have fun. 2.5s are cheap and readily available from Ford donors.
For sure, definitely an option for someone if they want to dive into this platform
