Video Idea: Best players from each draft class since 2000 or so. I am biased but I also think Backstrom is widely overlooked as one of the best players in the league because Ovechkin gets all the attention on the Caps like you guys mentioned. Keep up the great hockey videos, love watching them!

Just because he hasn't had playoff success because the penguins have had the best hockey team for the last ten years and always beat the Caps in the second round. Everyone is tripping, no one can stop Ovy cuz he puts up 40 plus consistently every year and he is healthy yearlong.

Im surprised Thornton and Marleau weren't even mentioned for San Jose. Arguably the sharks downfall last season was largely due to Thornton being injured towards the end of the season, just showing how much of an intangible presence he has on the ice.

What's funny is that I believe Eichel is one of the worst players on the Sabres this year. Last year was different. He sucks this year. I'd have to say Jason Pominville is the best player on the Sabres this year. Either him or Evander Kane or Rasmus Ristolainen. Great vid tho guys! :D

Obviously JT is the best islander but Lee is really underrated. He was 8th in the league in goals and really stepped up when JT was injured.
