Marine Biologist was my absolute favorite scientist back in the day. Fast fire rate and good damage up close. Feels so damn good to play
Till you see all the fish guts and bones that dolphin spits out and somehow deals like 80 dmg with
Marine biologist is a better chemist
Let me explain
Chemist does 40 dmg with a shot gun blast that can hit multiple targets
Marine biologist hits for 45 dmg and can stack with the 20 dmg long range attack but only single target
Most plants dont stick to each other (except sunflowers) so 65>40

As an aspiring Chemist main, I feel like the Chemist was better in gw1, when enemies only healed to half health and you could attack multiple enemies in a huddle, which is something that gw1 players from my experience seem to do more than gw2 players.
Yeah. That full-health regeneration also messed with variants like Camo Cactus who could one-shot every zombie but All-Star if the weren’t healed. That combined with the health upgrade boosting the Pirates, Soldiers, Engineers, and Hover Goat’s health to 135 absolutely butchered Camo Cactus.
A shame since I loved her and Chemist in GW1.

Literally all of the flaws of the chomper also apply to the Chemist, except somehow even worse. The one ability Chemist can use to try and hit roof campers has arching angles, making aiming precisely with sticky bombs an absolute nightmare.
Getting back into the garden warfare community and then seeing there is an active uploader who enjoys the game too makes me hopeful for the future of this game
Play future cactus, it's somewhat viable, especially with pinpoint accuracy with no recoil.
Sir it's not just viable, it's straight up overpowered, spamming uncharged shots can net you the third highest dps on the plant side
Dude future cactus is bs, it has absurd burst damage, no recoil, absurd dps PLUS the burst damage which makes it be able to deal 160 damage in less than a second. It's a massive and direct upgrade from regular cactus under my eyes
And ain't no favoritism in me either, I'm something a regular cactus main myself

I remember my old past when I used to had pvz gw1 on my ps3 I played as the chemist and got 98-103 kills sounds cool but my ps3 already snapped his neck and after years I got a Xbox 1 and got pvz gw2 as the new character showed up I lost my experience with the chemist zombie. 🎉😢

Fire cactus is underated he shoots very fast and do a lot of damage and in more he do fire damage
Ahh yess.. the character that swarms you and then proceeds to run when a drone chases them or in rare cases will attempt to jump and shoot the drone not realizing they look dumb af doing that..

Try playing Frozen citron, he can counter all star and super brainz due to his fast firing rate combined with freezing ability. The only downside to him that he lacks splash damage so you’ll most likely need aim.

I'd suggest... *playing Regrown & Undead mod offline-ly.*
It's an gw2 balance mod with some new things like, new abilities, new variants, and more.
And there are tons of balance changes in Regrown and Undead mod.
For example, armor chomper gets temporal armor buff that reduces damage he recives by 50% after finishing swallowing zombies. And his max health is increased by 10 hp.
Also, all sunflower classes & all scientist zombie classes starts health regen 50% faster than other classes.
So... Yeah, i STRONGLY recommend this mod.
This mod is made by gw2 modder called "Miko", by the way.
