Thread and needles can be purchased almost everywhere. I also shop a lot on etsy, just google "minky fur" or "velboa" or "cuddlesoft fabric" and you'll get some results.

I pinned it up and cut off the fabric that overlapped but it still keeps overlapping and I can't get the mouth lined up. What do I do? I don't want to keep making it smaller and smaller but that's the only thing I can find to do.😕

what material are you using? the material i use is flimsy like normal fleece. but people make hobby horses with material that stick up . what material are you using?

Do you have any advice on how to draw the pattern? My older sister is GREAT at drawing but she says that it would be hard to make it since the patterns have to match up.

I free hand mine and cut both sides out at the same time lol
I use felt and my hobby horses are so smal they are a hand and a half big they are also hot glued but im getting fur so no worriers

You cant,sadly. Since the horse is double sided with fabric,it cant fit in the sewing machine
how long does it take for you? it takes 9 hours fo me to make th base
