    Can you put down the names of the things you used and maybe a link to where we can find them?

    Please put list of items please...also, I thought using a buffer on nails smooths the nail beds not letting the gel polish to adhere as well to the nail? (Have you had any issues with that?)...perfect mani!! Love it!!

    Hi sweety. Just found you and subscribed because I’m loving 🥰 your videos. Can I ask you something: I would like to start doing my own gel nails but don’t know where to start or where to buy the gels. Can you suggest from where I could buy the things I need? Don’t have Amazon. Thanks 😊

    Like your videos, due to a recent infection in my toes. I've decided it's time to take of fake nails ( no not acrylic l do them myself.) I would like to ask a few questions
    Reccomendation what to look for while getting a mani/ pedi
    2. Would buffing the nails bring up natural oils and stimulate circulation in the nails possibly speeding up healing ?
    Waiting to see more videos

      Hi! In regards of what to look for while getting a service done you definitely want to make sure that they are starting with clean tools for every service not sharing files for example. I would also look for someone who does not use an electric file for their entire prep very few people truly know how to use an electric filed properly and generally end up causing damage to the client. If you are getting cut during your service that is not good understandably nics can happen from time to time but it really should be a rare occasion if you’re getting cut a lot it means that they are cutting things that do not need to be cut. And for pedicure you really want to make sure you’re going somewhere that is actually cleaning and sanitizing the pedicure bowls in between clients most people do not do this properly they barely rinse out the tub before the next client sits in the chair. If you can find someone that does a one time use set up or uses liners for the pedicure bowl for every client that would be ideal.
      What is going to help promote health and growth for your nails is constantly pushing your cuticles back that is the skin that grows on your nail plate pushing it back promotes growth and definitely contributes overall nail health. Definitely stay tuned I will be touching on the subjects more in detail.

    Is the buffer you are using for prep a fine buffer? Thank you

    • @TheNaturalNailGuru
      @TheNaturalNailGuru  Před 6 měsíci

      The buffer is a 180 grit and it is on a soft foam rather than a hard board like the 180 grit on an actual nail file so it’s a little easier on the nail plate

    Have you tried cnd cuticle eraser? I have not but wondered if it was good?

    I didn’t see you “cleanse” the nail plate (90% alcohol) or “dehydrate” the nail plate (like with Gelish blue liquid), just buff and gel base. If you were to cleanse or dehydrate or both, would that be before or after buffing?

    What grit file do you use on natural nails

    • @TheNaturalNailGuru
      @TheNaturalNailGuru  Před 2 lety

      I use a file that is 100/180 grit. I only use the 100 grit side to buff down the topcoat and prepare for soaking. I use the 180 grit side for filing and shaping the nail. 100 grit can be a little rough to use on the actual nail and truly not necessary. To buff the nail place I use a cushion buffer that is also the same grit. And depending on the nail plate I’ll use both sides of the buffer on the nail plate since it is on a cushion pad it is much more gentle on the nails so if I need to buff down ridges on A nail I will use the 100 grit side of the buffer as well it’s definitely much more gentle.

      @TheNaturalNailGuru  Před 3 lety

      I generally use milk and honey but I’ve done the pomegranate to my clients love the scent of both but milk and honey it’s probably their favorite

    Any chance you can make a dude-manicure , I’m trying to figure out how to file 😅 also I’ve seen some nail tech use that nipper as a nail clipper? 🤷🏽‍♂️

    • @TheNaturalNailGuru
      @TheNaturalNailGuru  Před 3 lety

      Lol I definitely use nippers as clippers for nails way better at getting good angles and not cracking the nail when you cut it. I’ll try to get a shaping video out soon!
