How is this small? It's like 8m+ to the back fence and like 18m+ wide? This is a huge yard? Most blocks where I am from are only 250-300sqm total. 3m from the house to the fence, usually 12m wide...?

It’s small by American standards.
It’s only small relative to the vast sprawling desert just over the lot line.
It does look like it’s about 1,500-1,800 sqft, which is huge compared to my first house with a 900 sqft back yard, but tiny compared to my current 4,200 sqft back yard.
lotta corners and sharp edges . keep it well lit during cocktail time . I like the symmetry and sharp edges personally.

I would have put a lap pool all the way across just because I like to swim but overall I think this was very well done.
