Pokemon Legends Z-A - Hry
It is pretty curious what they were thinking with Battle Bonds all those years back.. It's pretty much a Mega Evolution except completely organic! What do y'all think, would if be fun if it came back or nahh?
it makes sense.. maybe the antagonist is behind the formation of the mega stone and somewhere along the lines comes the formation of zygarde
What i think is, Ash Greninja is X version or Past Form since on anime, they said Greninja have Secret power from the past. So, maybe on Z-A they will showing us the Y version of Greninja more like Future Form without stone same the Past Form. 😂
I mean Battle Bond is a Mega Evolution… The purest form of Mega evolution… Mega Stones are a catalyst to Mega Evolution that depend on the bonds of trainer and Pokemon, and the Battle Bond ability is the Bond between trainer and pokemon naturally inducing the Mega Evolution when Trainer and Pokemon are in perfect sync
I want it to come back so bad.
Hey ttar, i actually sent you an email regarding this same idea!
The Unown in the Presents spelled out "POKEMON PRESENTS" and "SEE YOU"! They were just scrambled up.
I just thought it was weird how Unown '?' lagged behind for a bit. Maybe it is nothing and Unown '?' is just a slow derpy Unown. But one thought crossed my mind: What if that was their way of letting us know there is more to come this year? Which you know, is kind of a given but still.
@@Sakirthwe see the "SEE YOU" Unown followed by the "?" Unown and then we see Legends Z-A. It was just a preliminary tease
@@pokemonmaster1505 i think the Unown will have a heavy role in Legends ZA.
The Latin Alphabet (and other real world alphabets) are considered ancient letters in the Pokémon world. No one can read them.
@@pokemonmaster1505 Oh, I hadn't thought of it that way.
Literally Z unown because of Zygarde that's why they intend.
I've wanted a game for so long where the gimmick is Battle Bonds and your starter gets a form influenced by your character
It’s a cool idea but I feel like that’s would be too much work for gamefreak lol especially if it revolves around a similar way that ash greninja works
Best you can expect is them just putting you stupid hairstyle onto your pokemon.
@@respectfullyrazerian2154 LMFAO imagine Greninja with dreadlocks or charizard with a mohawk brooo
You think Synchro Machine in Blueberry Academy is the tease of this gimmick?
@@michaelolympus5994possibly, sounds like a good concept and I feel like they wouldn’t just introduce something so new just for it to not appear in the next games so I hope they continue to refine it more
Battle bonds could be hinted by the Blueberry Academy's Synchro machine and Greninja's Battle bond being nerfed, meaning GF has plans for the Battle Bond Ability and the concept of Pokemon synchronisation further.
Not to mention the painting of Ash-Greninja in Nemona's house. Though, they better buff it in PLZA.
@@zomorion9183that pokemon was already broken overpowered in sm/usum. It doesn't need a buff they just need to change it's ability to work like it did in sm/usum instead of the way it works on SV
@@LeanPicachu Brother, you realize half of OU from that gen wouldn't even be UU now, right?
@@zomorion9183 Ash greninja would most certainly be in OU right now if he had the same battle bond as he did in SM/USUM

This man has made 16 legends Z-A videos in 10 days. He is the ultimate source of hype
just nothing but speculation and getting your hopes up for nothing bc we don't even know anything rn
@@JosukeUrameshithat’s basically the definition of hype when talking about newly confirmed games. It’s all speculation until very close to the release, but people are still gonna try and come up with random theory’s, even if all they have is one singular trailer, the name of the game, and a release window.
Gamefreak on their way to copy his idea into the real game
To add on to your theory, originally Ash Greninja didnt revert back to regular greninja at the end of XYZ, it was retconned in journeys that he wasnt in the battle bond form
huh
But he did? Rewatch it, there's an epilogue image where greninja is helping Zyguarde cut down the vines in regular form, believe me I was suprised too.
It wasn't retconned 💀
Actually no... At the end of XYZ Greninja is in his normal form. He _only_ becomes Ash Greninja when Ash uses him in battle.
what…💀 we literally see on the last ep of xyz of greninja reverting back in base form while cutting a vine
I’ve been so-so on most of these scenarios so far, but I _really_ like this one.
Megas vs Battle Bonds, artificial vs natural, mega stones being the product of alchemy as a parallel to the philosopher’s stone, AZ Floette being a battle bond that was made permanent by its revival…
Damn, that’s good.
Nah, they likely retcon Ash greininja to be a mega and say it took its form after a hero of legends.
Thing is I was speaking on this stuff back in gen 6 about syncro evolution which turned out to be battle bond thing
@@Gameboy98They can just make it a mega and keep the same ability. Anime stopped using Ash and they couldn’t even get him back in Masters. Meaning they have the design but can’t use the inspiration tied to it. So they will have to change its background to use it.
Unlikely since home updated the model for it
@@Gameboy98 if it was retconned then why does it still exist in the home files? I don’t get where people get this retcon idea from. Pokémon like ultra necrozma were also left out.
"We're gonna need a bigger bag with this one".🗣🔥
so, the floette theory means that battle bond could be achieved in any stage of the evolutional chain of a pokémon (froakie, frogadier or greninja for example) and it's not an extra evolution stage.
It might be like how Gmax and z moves did specifically Eevee and Pikachu getting z stones as for Gmax specifically Pikachu, Eevee, and Meowth got one so AZ's Floette might be special like Ash's Pikachu because while there's a z stone for Pikachu Ash's Pikachu gets a special one called pikashium z specifically for his Pikachu
Honestly with how you can take damage in PLA from Pokémon they could replace agile and strong moves with battle bond where your Pokémon stronger and faster then megas but if you take to much hits or your Pokémon faints you lose like a risk and reward mechanic
Good idea, makes sense
Yeah, make it an even bigger boost than mega evolution, maybe a +120 or even +150 BST increase, but you’ll instantly pass out and be rushed to a Pokemon center if that Pokemon is defeated while in the battle bond form, making it either a risky way to turn the tables or a final ace in the hole when the rest of the team gets defeated.
This honestly makes alot of sense. We know battle bond is the bond between trainer and pokemon when theyre super close and become basically one through trust. While megas we know is forcing the pokemon into this state of power through brute force that harms the pokemon.
Where is the claim that mega evolution harms pokemon from?
@@topheftyr533 Gen 7 gave dex entries for Mega Evolutions and the majority is about how the Pokémon are suffering somehow with the explosive power of Mega Evolution on their bodies. One on top of my mind is how Tyranitar's back split open because of Mega Evolution.
@@topheftyr533 literally like most pokedex entries
No. Mega Evolution is also a connection between the Pokémon and its trainer.
Remember there's Keystone and Megastone.
@michaelolympus5994 true this. In the 19th movie, the Volcanion one, the villain forces pokemon to mega Evolve and they go through pain that way, because he hasn't bonded with them and whatnot. So a trainer needs to basically have earned the Pokemon's full trust and bond before the Pokemon decides for itself if it wants to mega Evolve (ofc this isn't how it is in the games, bc mechanics, but from a lore/in-universe/story pov this it works this way). This was shown even more in the anime with Ash's Lucario refusing to mega Evolve at some points when Ash was ready to, and Ash respected its wishes.

4:10 “SOUYUE?” spells out “See You ?” when the unknown from the trailer are unscrambled
And the Unknown in the beginning say “Pokemon Presents”
true
@@edeeeeeeen you’re the truest 💪
Battle Bond could be why AZ AND Floette were immortal. Since Battle Bond shares what happens between trainer and Pokemon, when AZ accidentally made Floette immortal by bring it back to life he became unable to die as well due to their bond
4:11 "Soe yue" is "See you" misspelled, it was a funny bit they were doing.
An interesting thought I just had is: Maybe when the people in x&y were talking about needing a strong bond with your Pokemon to “mega evolve” maybe they were actually talking about Battle Bonds and didn’t even know it. Since Battle Bonds are such a forgotten thing while Mega Evolution was always a thing, they could’ve mixed them together and attributed the strong bond to Megas. I think this would make pretty good sense from a story standpoint so Game Freak wouldn’t need to retcon anything.
i like the idea that az and floette's battle bond is so strong/powerful that not even death can seperate them
*Have been watching every video this year and plenty last year, really enjoying the theories and discussions.
Ttar always comes through with the ideas, they gotta pay u, this channel has been the pokemon hype season for the past two years
YES! I am so glad ive commented on this theory so much on your previous videos i think this is an epic theory cant wait to see if it happens
If our starters get battle bond I’ma be throwing my money at this game as soon as I can
i think very likely it will happen
This also plays into the hint they might have intended in SV. The synchro machine
The armour of 3000 years in the past Kalos is The armour on the Pokémon is depicted from the film Arceus and the jewel of life
Hey man, I just wanted to say great work. I used to watch your stuff back when I was like 11. I'm 21 now. Thank you for the content :D
I like this theory, maybe instead of mega Kalos starters, chessnaught and delfox could get battlebond forms
TTAR BECAME A CHEF BECAUSE WE EATINNN WHEN YOU POST BRO 💯💯💯💯💯
🤣. These ideas are nuts 🤙
We provide the ingredient and he's cooking it, making an all you can cope daily buffet 😂😂😂
Dammmmnn
Maybe the whole "strong bond" for megas came from the records of battle bonded pokemon, but with modern time only knowing about mega evolution, the people implemented the idea upon mega evolution.
Remember, since battle bond was the only way to surpass normal evolution, it won't have a specific name. Like "beyond evolution" or something similar. With battle bond lost to time, megas are the only idea of that concept.
Soooo
People assumed that the strong bond mentioned in ancient times is required for megas, the "beyond evolution"
but actually the beyond evolution was meant for battle bond not mega evolutions
I prefer synchro evolution
@@snin3202 isnt that battle bond
In the anime, Professor Sycamore showed a tablet that talked about "Battle Bonds" or something like that so it's entirely possible for it to reappear
This is why you are the man. I had forgot about the battle bond thing for a while now. So smart!!! It fully seems like all the starters were suppose to get a battle bond form too.
Brilliant. Love this theory, Ttar
I think like in legends arceus , there was trio dialga, palkia and giratina. The special one which is giratina had an origin form and so in legends both dialga and palkia were given origin forms. Same in kalos the trio is xerneus, yveltal and zygarde. The special one is zygarde which has different forms like 10,50 and 100%. So i think they is a possibility of getting 10,50 and 100% forms of yveltal and xerneas. This would be COOL!!!
I feel like there would be an NPC where you swap your Pokemon's ability for the Battle Bond ability (if it can get it), but there would be some kind of requirement like getting max friendship or walking a certain number of steps with it out of its pokeball or something else.
Wow man good vids overall that one idea tho is fire keep it up
I’d imagine mega evolution could be a mid game or end game event where you look for all the mega stones as a side quest at the same time as it’s important to the story.
Makes sense that they added the sync machine in the indigo disk now
i still dont get why nobody is talking about the Talonflame de-evolving on the trailer.....
What?
What??
What???
What????
What?????
I’d like to note that if you ignore the connection to ash greninja and floette have that same color pallet or change to the same colors 👀
11:41 you said aegislash and i got unbelievibly hyped for a battle bond aegislash 😂😂 MORE BATTLE BONDS
Im surprised i hadnt thought of this while watching the other videos, battle bonds seem to fit well, regardless of it was planned or improvised
In Pokemon XY, they made a point of saying that Mega Evolution was formed by the bond between trainer and Pokemon, and has been talked about in legends for centuries... But despite this, in Pokemon Sun and Moon they added Pokedex entries that portray Mega Evolution in a horrific light, causing the Pokemon immense pain or loss of control.
I like to think that those negative side effects are just a result of _forced_ Mega Evolution. Like, if it was _really_ the bond between trainer and Pokemon why would you be able to use Mega Evolution with a Pokemon you literally just got through trading? I feel like the "Battle Bond" we see with Ash Greninja is the ORIGINAL Mega Evolution, in its purest form. Mega Stones are a way to force that power to come out, but the Pokemon can only control that power if they have a strong enough bond with their trainer.
That would be crazy seeing other Battle Bond pokemon. But like Battle Bond Greninja it will hurt when the ability get nerf in game where mega don't exist. But I would still be sold on that idea. They will surely bring back all 48 mega in the game (having some sort of side quest for groudon, kyogre, rayquaza, mewtwo and diancie) so given will get new mega, if we get 5 to 7 battle bond pokemon would be enought.
Probably not gonna happen but I would find that cool to get a Battle Bond Zarude, Battle Bond Zeraora and lastly Battle Bond Marshadow. (They would be beyond Mythical!)😂
If you want some TCG lore regarding the whole mega evolution thing, in the X and Y era there was a type of Pokemon called "Break" it was heavily implied that Mega evolution was Pokemon being enhanced through artificial means and Breaks were them reaching that power through natural means as they occupied two separate universes, one of a more industrialized world and one of a more natural world. Maybe the games could be exploring a similar concept if the battle bonds thing holds true.
Volcanion getting something like a Battle Bond form sound awesome. Not sure how it would work but when you look at the other two Kalos Mythicals, Diancie has a Mega Evolution and Hoopa has it's Unbound form. It would be really cool for them to give Volcanion the same love with the other two, that Fire/Water typing has to be one of my favorites.
Battle bond could make perfect sense in a legends game where your trainer also has HP.
It's the most consistent theory i ve ever heard
This is the BEST theory yet.
You mentioned alchemy and I half expected Lockstin to appear out of nowhere saying "it all comes together!"
So battle-bonds are the not-painful, organic, fully-friendship-based, lost in time, only re-acquired by Ash, counterpart for Mega Evolution, which is synthetic, sometimes painful and gets rediscovered in present time
Perhaps even if Legends Z-A is in the future it can talk about how Battle-Bond is now getting rediscovered as well
Not only are you giving up your ability, but perhaps, like your trainer can get hurt in Legends Arceus, perhaps you can take damage from your Battle-Bond taking damage as well
It would be cool to see more Battle Bonds; albeit a small part wonder upon this would be that what would the pokemon that battle bonded be called??? (since Greninja became Ash-Greninja & all, what would other pokemon be called as then???)
The idea of being synced with your pokemon makes so much sense after the indigo disc which has a literal syncro machine 👀
TTar my guy, “Soe Yue” was just the unown jumbling up “See You” because it was the end of the presents, the same way the unown letters in the beginning were just a jumbled up “Pokemon Presents”
It would be really cool as well if you could choose which side you wanted and stick with megas or battle bonds for the whole game
Anyone else walking around the house, doing chores, watching this video, and telling your dog that Tyranitar is cooking this theory repeatedly?
I think we’re going to find how about the ancient group that created Golurk. If you look at it’s Pokédex entry in SV it mentions being created by an ancient civilization. There’s also a Golurk on the left side fighting in the war. I think they built them to protect them from Pokémon in Area Zero or were commissioned by the Paldean King.
Floette being a battle bond makes 100% sense considering if you compare it to ash-greninja they both share the same design motifs down to the very color choice (i know greninja is already blue but they did not have to make both of them share blue, red, and black accents in these specific bond forms)
I swear I use these Ttar theory vids as bed time stories for me. Nothing better than watching these vids before bed 😌…no homo
Random thought but i wonder if they’ll show the sundial in anistar city in some way. It always stood out as important to me.
Battle Bond moment
I remember the super old rumours of "fusion" mechanics coming to XY. Honestly this would be such a neat full circle if they finally implemented it.
2:12 no Ttar. The director of XY anime requested a special form of ash and greninja to gamefreak back then. Then GF came with idea of battle bond/ synchro transformation
the original rival to megas was BREAK pokemon, the non mega universe version of megas.
Exactly
6:00 That would make sense why in the Alolan games that mega evolved pokemon's dex entries said that it was harmful and hard for them
Man this is solid idea. It would fit very well and be something that makes sense.
This gives me idea of something like Devil fruit awakening in which they have gained access to the power of an ancient figure like "sun god nika" for example. may be they could do something like a pokemon having certain relation with a legendary pokemon can access their power and awaken a hidden power.......
(idk why but i see greninja and AZ's flowette having this kinda relation. maybe the colour scheme me thinks.)
The unown are actually an anagram similar to how they were at the start and unjumbled themselves up to say Pokémon, however this time when unjumbled they say "see you"
Am soo excited for this new Pokémon
Ash-Greninja will return but not alone?!
I still wonder what the XZ and YZ games found in the giga leak were going to be like.
“Eternal Flower” and Floette’s stat change and appearance remind me more of Paradox Pokémon than my other phenomenon. I think we will get regional variants of starters, then Megas of the Kalos starters that we will receive later or be in the wild, like the original starters were from Legends Arceus
brooooo this would be SOOOOO GOOOOOOD
The fact that Ash can use battle bond makes me wonder if hes somehow related to the Kalos tradition that you mentioned in the video, like either his mom or dad couldve been born in kalos or maybe one his grandparents
Ability vs item. Great question
my headcanon was battlebond is the progenitor of mega evolution, where pokemon and trainers are closely bonded together that the pokemon took on the form of their trainers and in that war when the ultimate weapon is fired, those forms were preserved on the mega stones and can now be used by any pokemon on the same specie.
you cooked on dis one. homie deserves a kiss fr
This man is hyping up this game and is so excited and we havent seen an ACTUAL trailer yet 😭🥰
remember in the anime in the ninja village they talked about battle bonds i remember seeing 3 pokemon in the paintings one was greninja and staraptor and in the paintings they were in battle bonds I'm gonna watch it again to see whose the other pokemon with the battle bond
it's a little hard to make out but it's in pokemon xy (my letter after y is broken) ep 6 14:19
its interesting to note how you mentioned battle bonds being "full synchronization with your pokémon" and the S/V dlc just introduced that whole synchronization thing where you directly control your pokémon. could be a sublte nod towards battle bond but idk could also just be reaching. i think its interesting at the very least.
About az's floette, maybe it was just meant to be the first hint to regional variants?
geat points, i do like you points from 8:30 - 9:11 abount the battle bond, but maybe a slight add on - the battle bonds may be color associated with xerneus and yveltal, battle bond Geninja was red and blue, and floettte or AZ floette is also red and blue. So that may tie in xerneus and yveltal
I Already Like The Theory And It Would Also Bring A Reason Why Most Mega Pokemon Are In A Lot Of Pain From The "Mega" Energy Overflowing
i love the lob corp music in the background
Mega evolution is usually described as very painful for the pokemon, which lines up with your theory
I hope we'll get more Battle Bonds!
This theory makes so much sense.
but in xy anime they explained that battle bond form pokemon starters are rare, and not just any froakie can have battle bond, which is why ash's froakie has battle bond, because it's a rare/special one of a kind froakie that is compatible to have a battle bond ability and form, and that's why ash's greninja is so special, because out of all the froakie that exist in the pokemon world ash's froakie/greninja is the only one that is compatible to have a battle bond form, because Ash and greninja's bond is so strong/powerful,that they can unlock a new form for greninja
Ok this is crazy but hear me out. Remember how back in x and y we got a mystery gift torchic with speed boost that had its mega stone, but that meant that we already knew torchic's mega for ORAS? Combine that with the fact that in XY the actual starters did not get megas but instead we got kanto starters with mega stones... now here's my theory: we saw synchro greninja early just like we saw mega blazakin early so despite this being a legends game the starters will be the og XY trio but they will all receive synchro evolutions. (Synchro only being achieveble if you trained the pokemon from below a certain level) Additionally we will receive a seceond set of starter (johto or unova) that will get brand new megas. This would make sense to because I can't imagine them not giving the other starters synchro if they are bringing the mechanic back.
13:29 I feel a cool idea is a 1 on 1 fight. Say you chose Blaziken with a battle bond, then the person you are against would use a mega version of blaziken. Vice versa with the other starters
Cool thing is that 11:19 both greninja and Floette have blue black and red paterns.
I can't remember where I read this but apparently battle bond was a concept already introduced in the manga under some friendship name
I feel like the ZA starters have Megas but the XY starters have the potential of Battle Bond. We'll meet people form the ninja village and 2 others associated to the other starters, Chespin Fennekin and Froakie then becoming the starters of Kalos going forward in hopes that other trainers will be able to reach Battle Bond so it can be studied more.
I mean... This could add up with the Synchro Machine from the Indigo Disk. They for sure decided to specifically say it's a prototype in ID, because they plan to expand on it in a future game. Maybe this is that game.
This is really interesting. I actually hope they implement at least some of the things you theorized.
Good concept
Greninja’s orange/yellow water shuriken still surprises me and listen to this. There is an episode with Pikachu ( i freakin forgot which one 💀) but pikachu got attacked and ash ( felt it ) as well just like when greninja got attacked ash feels it, that was super strange but battle bond can be interesting. Looking forward 🔥🔥🔥
Which generation's anime? Can you at least remember that? I'm thinking of BF, possibly against Anabel? (Idk I was a Sinnoh baby, so never really watched Hoenn)
in scarlet and violet there a sychro machine prototype where you can sync with your pokemon,in masters ex there's sygna suits where you can sync with your pokemon and feel closer to them, and in x and y there's battle bond ash greninja, and Az's floette,so maybe the creators/nintendo/game freak/pokemon company are planning to add more battle bond/bond evolution forms in pokemon ZA?
bro got something serious on his arm
Every time you said battle bonds i heard battle buns
I swear I remeber a description where it said ash greening are had the same phenomenon as floette I swear I read it somewhere
Funny thing, Floette is the original fairy pokémon, which was supposed to get 550 bst anyway, but GF decided that the first fairy you encounter should be a 3-stage evolution, hence flabebe and florges.
I’d say that battle bonds have already been there and the life energy that came around was the catalyst for it to activate similar to mega evolutions using mega stones, just a natural way of doing it.
