I actually like the realistic injuries, adds difficulty and it makes no sense to get badly damaged yet still move at full speed, and then after the match it says the superstar is injured
24/7 mode was one of the best game modes I’ve played
Little Mike02 it was good, no doubt. But in my opinion they repeated the storylines too much
It was a cool idea, it just felt drawn out having to do the same things almost every week before the matches. Plus those pre match cutscenes were just odd at times. Having a blood feud with another dude? Why not shake his hand happily backstage along with his accomplice?

24/7 was rubbish as if you make a decision it decides to say you made the other decision like it was locked to that one decision so there was no point giving you a decision to make.

BigshotCBooth the only Ultra Heavyweight in the game is the Great Khali. You can’t even create an Ultra Heavyweight
@@solidsnake4214 True (and Andre the Giant in the Original SvR and SvR 2006) but it's still an unfair weight class. Especially since Khali actually weighed less than Big Show and Viscera, and they were put in the game only as "Super Heavyweights".
Some of those (like weight detection and damage), are actually good additions. I don't really want to see Rey Mysterio do a military press drop on Mark Henry.

I think the weight detection was a good add-on...It makes 0 sense seeing rey Mysterio giving Big show a body slam

I loved being able to stack tables. (I would stack them outside the ring and do the outside superplex finisher) I also liked having more freedom with the announcer table.
I hate that in career mode it’s half kayfabe and half real. On the other hand, atleast they had a storyline

I never really used the mode myself, but it was fun downloading and playing other peoples' created stories.

@@MinimiMax It makes sense to make an remake of older games , some games has not age well the graphics look too dated like Final Fantasy 7-12 , Resident Evil 1-4 , Silent Hill 1-3 , ...... and many more .
In the case of Here comes the Pain it would be awesome to replace all the 3D models with more detail ones realistic hair and better facial expressions , make the animation a little smoother and improve the roster because in the game are not enough Divas in the game should be at least 20 Divas .
Sad thing is that we will never get remakes of older wrestling game (or other older sports games) because there are not enough people who would buy them .
@@paluxyl.8682 If you care about graphics then that might be a good point. I'm just fine with outdated graphics personally so an update on that would not be necessary at all for me. Improving the roster is a bit better point but then again, if you're not even going to make it with the same roster then it's not really true to the original, plus a few problems arise with there being a bunch of wrestlers on the existing roster that they couldn't even use anymore so a roster update would be mandatory anyway. So unless you're suggesting a completely new game with like a current roster but with the gameplay mechanics of HCTP, I'm not on board at all.

Day of reckoning looked good, I barely remember any gameplay from it but it looked good and I wish stamina would go at a faster rate if you got busted open like in this game, it’ll make busting them open more valuable.
My other gripe with DOR 2’s realism is the skill ratings in your caw’s attributes because you have to have them at a certain level to use certain moves. And if you waste your limited attribute points on your skills, the game would basically be impossible since you drain stamina so quickly.
I personally enjoyed the injury mechanic. Yeah, it can suck if it happens to you, but it can happen to your opponent too which made it fun for me.
In 2k19 career mode they don’t shut up about Buzz (the main character) living in a van and his fathers death

WWE2k20 or 2k21 wish list: Mid Match injury to go with stamina bar if your a limb targeting warrior like me, 24/7 mode, relationships with female talent. To all complainers about not having GM Mode Im like: Really? Really ? Like Hello you have Play and Universe match editor.

Wow never saw that glitch in my 2k19. I'll admit I love the 2k Series of WWE and the old joints. I think 19 is a nice balance can't wait for 20. Hopefully dudes can get twitchy like in DOR

It's just a shame that the CPU's AI was absolutely horrible. Playing it against a friend, however, was an absolute treat. And that roster was one of the largest for quite some time.
I think the stamina meter in WWE Day of Reckoning 2 was kinda legit to me. Or at least it gave the match a new element that you had to watch out for. Still had a lot of fun on that game.
Yeah WWE 2K22’s stamina meter doesn’t really matter that much I barely notice it.

I get where you're coming from but personally I think the realism is quite fun. it makes me want to play the game much more and the career situation is just part of the story line which I really rate this year
24/7 mode in SvR08 was actually really fun. I loved it so much.
24/7 mode actually sounds cool to me - overall I just wish we would have more options in games like this
24/7 was decent but shit the best modes are the first three svrs and here comes the pain and shut your mouth career modes

Ultra Heavyweights in SvR ‘07?
I'd say the whole fact that lesser weight wrestlers couldn't pick up and do certain moves to other wrestlers of higher weight classes. I started the game wanting to make a classic rey mysterio Eddie match. I tried to hit a spin kick rey acts like he broke his leg and Eddie just stands smacking his chest. That start a long love hate relationship I have with that game to this day.

Anybody miss arcade wrestling games. They were awesome and more responsive controls and honestly L1 as the finisher button just made sense as the triangle button can always be pressed accidentally and, thus, you lose your finisher.
Here's some realism: In WWE 2K18 MyCareer Mode, Barron Blade was a superstar. In WWE 2K19 MyCareer Mode, he is a manager basically.
I have started a match with a lock up maybe 2 times ever. I guess my timing is always off or something?

I actually hate so much about the new games.. This Reverse thing where you have to press a button or you'll be fucked is so annoying. You nearly killed your opponent and then you miss reverse a couple times, he gives you a finisher and pins you. It's so dumb. You can't even stand up on your own. You have to wait till you get beaten up or wait 10 years, lose 2 money in the bank fights and watch your kids go to college till your character decides to stand up. And that is only, after you got one slap on the back....
In 0:11 to 0:18 the tables were flying higher and higher like a bird

I think 24/7 could have been a very good mode.. If it has more different cutscenes (backstage cutscenes , backstage pre match and post match, often mid match cutscenes would be great), branching story lines.
I did sunspension match against spike Dudley bcuz an autograph and won
WWF No Mercy N64 I am 12 years old in a fatal four way match against my friend and his two cousins. My friend as The Rock me as Kane and I don't recall who the cousins played as, I throw cousin #1 over the top rope as I am doing this my friend hits the Rock Bottom on cousin #2 setting up The People's Elbow bounces off the ropes and I catch him mid air by the throat into a chokeslam and pin for the win. To this day I still don't know if interrupting finishers was programmed in or I glitched the game but it remains one of the realest and coolest things I ever did in a wrestling game!

I noticed that the attack animations are done as if the characters in-game are faking the moves (big stomps, whiffs, questionable technique) which is "realistic" but it's so jarring for a game to have characters selling moves. It's probably because they did the animations with motion capture, but it's not a big deal for anyone else that uses it.
What I hate is what they've done to hell in a cell matches. It's way too restricting. You can't pick weapons, you can't run on the outside, and you can't pretty much do anything except punch the guy

Well in real life wrestlers who are higher up in the roster have many more matches than the ones who are low ranking, so in the game (as in real life) you would start out with having few matches but you can work your way up and eventually have matches almost every week.
I think thats pretty cool, the whole point of gaming is to make progress.

You forgot in wwe smackdown vs raw 2007 they had weight class difference were small superstars can't pick up super heavyweight superstars. Basically superstars that can't pick up superstars on the show were not able to do it in the game you had to figure out how to beat the bigger opponent. Wwe 2kshould bring it back.

I wish if you hurt someone’s leg they’d be slower and limp or have struggles doing certain moves. Or if you hurt their back they lift ppl with a struggle
I can't remember which one, but I had to get a five star match out of HHH. I managed to get up to 4 or 4 1/2 stars before the AI said 'fuck this' and booked it out of the ring. Not exactly his style, but avoiding a loss/fulfilling a secondary game requirement would be. lol.
Events and activities sounds like something fun to play. Maybe give the player a choice on what they do during the event.
I want a return to SvR controls.

2K 18 career was absolutely horrible on switch. The lag was incredibly bad.
I’ve loved every game so far and haven’t had a glitch like that. I was never a fan of GM mode so I’m fine it’s not on there I do hope they bring back Special Referee tho. Preordered 2K20 and I know I’ll love it too!

I think WWE 2K18 had a great career mode in my opinion.
Until the career mode was over. They put u in random Matches and u can never defend your title
They need to make a storymode like svr 2011. I loved that there were like 6 different storylines to play through

I kinda want the ability to be fired back just imagine the year before you were forced into a retirement match at wrestlemania but next year you return at the royal rumble it would make it even cooler with better commentary and crowd reactions
