Sorry for the reupload, I accidentally deleted this video 🥲 but today we’re taking the plunge and finallyy reorganizing my Mooncat drawers into rainbow order! This was.. a process 🫠 lol but I’m satisfied with how the end results look! What do you think?? Are you surprised to hear I’m already lowkey frustrated that I can’t find a mooncat shade I’m looking for lmao, it just was so easy to locate a specific polish before when it was in collection order 🤣 BUT at least now I should be able to not forget any comparisons. Hope you enjoyed this video!!

I actually think Dam Polish has a pretty good alternative called Data is My Love Language!! i do like the idea of organising by season, but there are many shades in my collection that i wear in multiple and-not-always-consecutive seasons 😆

“Sabretooth could also read as Winter, I like “Sand Viper” as Spring (a moody one though).
I would put “Full Scream Ahead”, “Petals for a Narcissist” and “Fields of Elysium” and “Sand Viper“ as a rainy spring, damp forrest. I have Sand viper but I need these others😅
“Flight of the Monarchs” and “Take Me to Your Leader” are stunning and reminds me (at first glance) of Polished for Days “Sunset Dust” but I think the MC ones are darker.
Oh man “Nemesis” and “Robotica” are so beautiful!
I would put the golds maybe with browns?

I loved how you separated warm toned from cool toned! I would never have thought to do that!
At the end, I totally saw how that green leaning polish could at first glance, live with the blues until you pulled out a teal and showed that it would be better suited with the greens.

I ended up getting all 3 of the PPG, Enchanted Mist, Triceratops, Stumped, Moonfairy, Curiosity’s Prey, Curse of Calypso, and Tectonic Shift. 😅 like I said narrowing it down was pretty impossible. I was blinded by the flakies and multichromes 😬

didn't mind the rewatch on mute cus I had a deaf ear situation today (which we did use the earwax removal kit later tonight) and also, I now have my largest brand collections in rainbow order and it's really satisfying! :D

I loved watching you re-organise these! What a stunning drawer to open *sigh* I'd never want to shut it. Also I don't think the upside down LLP bottles would bother me too much, it's better than having them the right way up and not be able to see the colour 🤷♀. I can't handle the idea of getting rid of any polishes! Too shiny pretty to part with a single bottle; cannot be done. 😭😅😘

I get so stressed organizing by color…because some things like you said will lean warmer or cooler, and then I feel like I’m not doing ROYGBIV. That’s why I really feel like I need to do the season storage like you do. But I still have not done it. Just feels a bit overwhelming. 😂
Exactly!! 🙈 I feel pretty good about the spring/summer drawer though, it seems to flow a lot better than my cirque one, they have sooo many more of those purpley-pinks 😩 I know even doing my season can be a hassle too, I wish I could visit you to help you organize lol 🥹

I’m always so conflicted what season colors are for! I had my polished in rainbow order but for my bigger collections by collection is easier for me to find them, but comparisons are always hard!
How do you typically destash? I’ve seen people make accounts for it / there’s facebook groups but I always wonder how. And I’m also afraid I’m going to be like “but I need that cerulean with green shimmer and micro glitters and not my 6 others very similar with slightly different size shimmers or glitters or undertones” 😂

I used to have an IG page for destashing and might go back to that! I was on mercari for a few years but they recently changed things and added fees for buyers which i think is so annoying, but i def sold more thru mercari than I did on IG .. and LOL I feeel that!! It’s so easy for me to justify keeping shades bc 98% of them aren’t EXACT dupes 😝 but I think it’s easier to start with colors I don’t wear as often. You won’t see me destashing a pink with blue shimmer anytime soon 🤣
