New Zealand and Belarus (as well as Australia and Belarus) could potentially work as a friendship, but not so much for romance. Okay so let me just explain what happened with Japan and America after WW2. Okay so basically America offered to help rebuild their cities after the a-bombs. This later turned into one of the closest country Alllies as Japan helped fight in the Korean,Vietnam,Persian Gulf,Cold War,and Iraq war. So basically, Japan x America to me is good but I'm not what u would call a shipper I'm just saying it could work.
