Yeah, this guy is becoming one of my new or newer favorites. Love seeing all the hands that he decides to fold love the commentary I love seeing the actual part and how much that he’s up at each particular stage very easy to follow good content, good knowledge and I’ll be watching a lot of your videosenjoying the journey
You had me sweating with you during that ace high bluff man! Realized i was holding my breath once the villain finally folded and i let out a sigh of relief hahaha loving the content!
Fantastic session. You were due for one of your vlog sessions going this well. Way to go... Watching felt like watching one my favorite teams blow away the competition.
💪💪 I mean he’s not a professional, he’s a recreational player I don’t take it badly. He’s a nice guy trying to spice things up and if something he’s giving me a big advantage showing so much information
We appreciate your content!!! DOn't listen to the people who think you are "Wasting" your time. Just keep on grinding, I love poker, I'd play for free!!! You're the Man!
Nearly all watched now , very good vlogs. Amazing to look back and see the progress via the number of views, likes and comments increasing vlog by vlog. Asa one off in the future if your local does a tournament and you enter a tournament vlog would be very interesting . Thanks for the time and effort .
Found your vlog recently. Went back and watched 5 so far. I play in Texas, and $1-$2 and $1-$3 plays a little different than what I witnessed on your vlogs so far. So I'm finding your conservative grind instructional. Love the every hand displayed. And I had to look up the definition of Babbo, as it is a phrase I'd never encountered before.
Thanks for watching!! Happy to hear that you’re enjoying the vlogs. Haven’t been to Texas but for what I’ve heard definitely sounds way more action out there. Babbo is a way they say father in the south of Italy
I play at Jamul quite a bit and just found this. I'm sure you've seen me. I'm always in Padres gear and a buddy of Troy. I'll come say hi next time I see you. Don't listen to the negativity and keep doing your thing. I'm enjoying the content.
Don’t trip on that Wendy’s comment bro! Your videos help the real poker LOVERS out there!!!! Been a huge poker fan and player for 13years now since I was 18! And you sir are a fellow poker lover an it’s great to see! Videos are awesome, always watch
Thanks man!! I really appreciate the support. Haha I didn’t take it badly, was funny and true honestly. Even if the hourly is on the lower side still pretty amazing to be able to play cards for more than minimum wage
Enjoying your gameplay. What is the white paper you toss to the dealer periodically? You won preflop a couple times AA etc and then toss the paper to the dealer..? Just wondering
That’s a very good question maybe it’s something for taxes I’m not sure, but I was curious about that too. I don’t think it’s anything shadier in nefarious but yeah, what is that paper? I don’t know.
Only 3 combos of QQ on that QT8 board. However it does suck that we block AK holding AA. We still shouldn't be too worried about top set. We can most def go for value on that turned T. Loving the vlogs dude
I'm not going to lie, I shed a few tears for you hearing about the tragic circumstances surrounding your loss of VIP parking. All I can say is, you touched me man, you touched me. Satan crept into the heart of the evil poker room manager who took away your VIP parking, but the power of God is greater. We won't stop praying until this wrong has been righted. 🙏
Enjoyed this series pretty brutal luck. Would like it better if you showed table cards in the card format like your holdings. It would make it easier to follow
Yeah I’ve tried it’s just an issue I have the the editing app that I use that doesn’t allow it. Basically the cards won’t go small enough to fit the screen 🤷. I imagine there must be a way to fix it
Awesome vlog again and thanks for taking the time and effort. Ignore the negative comments. Did think they had kings or queens v the aces also , definitely look like QQ
Thanks man! I really appreciate the support. Yeah she can definitely have QQ but feels still tight we do lose value from KK that she has more combos of
Catching up nearly watched them all. As I’m primarily a tournament player I do wonder what the general consensus is regarding starting bankroll to play upto $3-$5 Also what’s the expected hourly rate. Not asking for your personal finances more a general opinion from host or people who comment .
Hey man! I think the usual recommendation is to have at least 20 buy-ins as a low point. Hourly can definitely change depending on location but I think something between 40-60 playing 2-5 1k
Hey man! Yeah that’s why I post every other week. I do all my editing while playing so I would be able to say exactly how much but my guess is around 15-20 hours
Kia Ora from Wellington NZ again. I've been looking forward to this installment. Great sesh! liking the onscreen running win/loss rate. When the CO called your AA button 3bet, I don't think you played the hand "scared" at all, but correctly with caution, as a super tight player calling a preflop 3bet out of position should warrant some caution 🤔 getting paid was the main thing. (Maybe your wee one's KK being slow rolled by trip Q's was still in mind 😬 she's lovely btw 👶) Nice one on the quad J's btw, your opponent did the shoving for you! ka ching! 💰 and the straight, everyone brain farts at some point 🙃 p.s. definitely seeing a grudge match brewing with your nemesis, he seems to play any two random cards just to be in it vs you... you'll crush him
Thanks for watching!!! Yeah she did have a super tight range. I was actually surprised she had AK. My villain is actually a really nice guy I thought it would be fun to make a thing out of it since we’ve been battling the last 2 vlogs 💪💪
I actually like the check back. on the turn w AA there. I doubt you were super deep enough not to be able to get it in on river if you wanted, and obviously let her blast w bluffs and weaker value. Maybe she finds an open and a 3b call w AQs? Nice hand tho
Against most players I’m always betting turn to jam river because I do put them on more hands like AQ KQ. Thing about her is she’s very tight and she made it 25 that’s massive for 1-3 basically saying that she has a premium and I don’t think she’d be doing that size with AQ
If you got a guy that really considers folding 2nd str8 just cause 2 hands beat him.... Making the move is printing! Nice. * Chat pros.... I am aware that there is more than Just nut spades in buttons range for flushes, but you all know what I mean.
I don’t put it against him honestly since I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s a good fold on the long run against the usual players in these 1-3 games. Nobody usually goes thin enough for value when the flush comes in with anything worse than a flush and people don’t tend to triple barrel bluff
The casino just doesn’t make that much money off of poker players if they don’t play any other games in the casino so they thought that where spending too much money on a player pool that wasn’t giving that much profit to them
don't knock yourself on the hand vs the woman when she had AK, if u bet the turn she would have surely folded and because you didn't bet it you got her to bluff a benji on the river.
Not saying Wendy's wouldn't be a steady pay check. And there is nothing wrong with people working at Wendy's. But, If you think anything in America is tax free, especially California, you have no idea what you are talking about. California is the highest taxed state. Also i the US, we pay tax on the tax, that we are taxed on... Lol Of that 42k, dude is probably seeing about 28k of that, maybe less(if no tax write offs or deductibles are claimed). Other than that, having worked at Sonic for a very brief week back in High School, a whole lifetime ago. Yeah, id rather play poker for 10 an hour... Haha
You are delusional if you think a poker player playing 1-3 is paying taxes. I’m from the US and play part time. 5% of poker players are claiming this as income for taxes my guy
@@zekebones34 If you think that legal thats on you. Im just saying, if the guy is playing for a living, with a family, and a bank account, they know when you are moving money around. Even Barry Greenstein talks about being audited for taking odd amounts out of the bank and depositing odd amounts. And that was decades ago. Also, I'm indifferent to whether small stakes are paying or not.
with expert play you are maybe beating a $300 cap 1/3 game for 6 or 7 BB's per hour...and there is no way you are doing so playing 40 hours a week ..the more hours you play the lower your hourly rate goes based on the added non prime hours you are playing.... .if u follow this channel how many times do you see him get shove raised by a guy with a $83 stack,,,it happens alot ..so many short stackers in these 1/3 games.. .and sorry i have watched this guys vlogs and he does not qualify as "expert" play...he is a good player ...probably a small winning player at 1/3 ...which is more than 90% of the people playing live poker can say.. .not trying to be a hater .he seems like a good guy ..i started watching this channel a while ago and enjoyed the first many vids but at some point got the feeling he was just trolling the viewers ***full disclosure i was the one who made the comment he referenced but I said "Walmart" not "Wendys".where you start at $20ph and could easily move up to $35-$40 ph as an asst manager..with full benefits....his wife obviously has $ or a good job or both....1/3 for a living is not a thing the way this guy does it.. if u wanna play ssnl for rent money play 2/5 and 5/5 at a place like Hustler, Bike or Gardens...5/5 $1000 cap would be your best option..i know several people beating those games for like $40 to $60 ph over a long period of time...they are truly "playing for a living"...
@@zekebones34very true but the other point is that when poker is your full time gig and the only source of income, you actually have to report it to the IRS, otherwise sooner or later they will come around and ask how you are paying for life with "no income". I don't play full time but do taxes for a dozen of full time players.
The card you are handing to the dealer is clearly some kind of promotion. Promotions are an important part of the your earnings at low stakes. To get a full picture of your earning potential, it would be helpful to understand how much value they add. I hope you will share what the situation is a Jamul, including the rake structure and comps based on play. I did notice that you were chopping the blinds, which doesn't work in some California casinos when the rake the pot before the flop. I appreciate all the work involved in making a VLog - I hope you keep at it.
I really think you’d do better at 2-5 not to mention make better living. You play fundamentally sound. I just don’t see how you can make a decent living at 1/3 with California rake. Do you have any desires to move up stakes?
Please stop playing 1-3. You've got to move up. The rake just kills you at 1-3. Several years ago I dropped down to 1-3 for an entire year because my game needed to be built back up. But other than that, you've got to move up above 1-3 if you're serious about making money.
I agree higher the stakes the better. I do think this casino is an exception that you can do ok in 1-3 since the rake is low and the give a lot of promotions
Oh no I meant that I just enjoy playing poker. If I didn’t do it for a living I’d be playing for fun with friends or family. The main reason I play poker is not the money it’s that I just love playing
@@Pokerbabbo you just play poker for living and not for money? So: life is free. . And you play poker for free, because you enjoy it. So: if you enjoy it, then it is free?

So much criticism and confidence without even being open to debating about the hand. I’m good dude, definitely not going to talk about a hand with someone with such mindset.
@@Pokerbabbo I literally play professionally and was trying to help you. You need to stop looking for really outside angles. You are too wide open. Need to tighten up and play to your hands actual strength vs the opposition ranges.

😂😂 exposing me about what? You have way too much time dude. Work on yourself, get a hobby. You need to do something with your life if you’re wasting your time hating like this
@@Pokerbabbo you are all projection dude...u wouldn't have deleted the comment if it wasn't true...truth hurts friend...just like the "walmart" comment got under your skin because you knew it was true....not hating bro...just pointing out when someone is gas lighting viewers...
When you hit the trip two's and your nemesis showed a 6 for a potential straight. He bet $50 and you called after the river.. Why didn't you make him show his cards? He bet, you're calling to see what he has. The bettor should always have to show their cards first. I make them show their bluff before exposing my cards when I play
Good table ethics. We want to make a friendly environment that the recreationals are enjoying themselves since we are making money off of them. If they don’t want to show their hand don’t make them. you know they were bluffing that’s more than enough information
You’re posting pointless hands. That makes me lose attention on your vlogs. Post exciting hands bro. I’m - few minutes in your video and I can’t watch anymore.

I do think this casino is an exception that you can do ok in 1-3 since the rake is low and the give a lot of promotions
if you never misread your hand you haven't played enough.where is this room?
💯💯😂 it’s Jamul casino in San Diego
Enjoy the vlog … you guys wanna see a loosing 1-3 player watch the trooper97 vlog. He plays 1/3 in Vegas and is loosing player
🙏🙏
On the button not in the button weird O and what is up with these nails anyone know
Does anyone know? I’m wondering as well about the nails
Improve your hourly
Study poker like Bart or little or Phil
Play at night like 6pm-3am
Quit if you ain’t lit
Quit if you ain’t lit is definitely the most important one
You play well, particularly for 1/3 which is my level. If I have to add one thing is; never…ever… slow play pocket AA, there will be consequences 😮
Oh yeah always fast play AA. Just not so crazy that you get no value like some OMCs do by making it a 10x raise preflop and getting everyone to fold
Wish I could get a pocket pair every five minutes
Right wish it would happen more often
if you can pay all your living expense and still have enough to grow your life roll then I don't see why it would not be possible
Definitely have to keep living expenses low playing 1-3
@@Pokerbabbo live in a box under the highway...delete this one too..u are a fraud
2:21...playing for free means what? Someone pays you for playing, I presume. (?)
Like you would just play the game for fun, no money involved
Oh no I meant that I just enjoy playing poker. If I didn’t do it for a living I’d be playing for fun with friends or family. The main reason I play poker is not the money it’s that I just love playing
@@Pokerbabbo
you just play poker for living and not for money? So: life is free.
.
And you play poker for free, because you enjoy it. So: if you enjoy it, then it is free?
Listen man i meant no hate by that you just made it sound worse than it was in that video. I enjoy your vlogs
Hey! What are you referring to??
@@Pokerbabbo the losing 5/6 months comment, you made it sound worse than it was.
5h2c8h - holding Ac7c - "We connect pretty decently with this board" ... Are you high? Everything is a back-door draw and high card draw with a number of your outs gone because of Hearts... Dude, you are in the wrong profession I think.
So much criticism and confidence without even being open to debating about the hand. I’m good dude, definitely not going to talk about a hand with someone with such mindset.
@@Pokerbabbo I literally play professionally and was trying to help you. You need to stop looking for really outside angles. You are too wide open. Need to tighten up and play to your hands actual strength vs the opposition ranges.
this guy is an absolute joke ... i posted a comment exposing him as a fraud and he deleted it.....most of the comments praising him and saying how great the vlog is are also fake.....
😂😂 exposing me about what? You have way too much time dude. Work on yourself, get a hobby. You need to do something with your life if you’re wasting your time hating like this
Yes he is a fraud. My comment is also created by AI to boost his confidence.
@@Pokerbabbo you are all projection dude...u wouldn't have deleted the comment if it wasn't true...truth hurts friend...just like the "walmart" comment got under your skin because you knew it was true....not hating bro...just pointing out when someone is gas lighting viewers...
How is he a fraud? I played in the same room last year and he was there almost every time I was there. He mostly played 2/5.

You are my favorite transgender poker player I hope in my heart you make the money playing 1/3 for the surgery bro
What?
😂😂
@@Tindel10He’s clowning his fingernails.
You’re posting pointless hands. That makes me lose attention on your vlogs. Post exciting hands bro. I’m - few minutes in your video and I can’t watch anymore.
A lot of people like seeing what hands he folds. If you dont like it go watch Brad or Rampage
There’s literally countless vlogs out there that are exactly that. What’s the purpose of this comment. What you like is out there. As well most people seem to be enjoying this format a lot more. Specially since my views have skyrocketed since I’ve been doing it
