Great video. I would have “dressed up” the pallet with spray liner or deck paint. Maybe next time run the hoses around the back of the tank and along the side of the bed or run through the channel of the pallet to allow for more open storage area.
Its been a year now, did you change out that fridge that sucks🤣. Great info bubba may look into a similar setup when im ready just gettin started out this year w a small 2.5 unit. Startin from the bottom. Thanks, lou ky
I'm surprised that 420cc can push that 6.5gpm pump, that really is impressive! I'm actually upgrading my simpson 4gpm to a 5.5 comet. Did that 6.5 come with the gear box already installed on the pump?
Great build! Just so I'm understanding, you would normally connect to water supply at customer location and the buffer tank is just to make up for where you're customer connection lacks....yes? How long does a 55 gallon drum last when running the 6+ gon unit constantly? I'm guessing it only pulls maybe, 2gpm from the buffer tank so....just under 30 minutes in theory? Do you run into supply issues from the buffer tank when it gets below 25%-30% full? Thanks in advance, keep up the great work 👍
No issues with the buffer tank. When running the machine it will pull 6-6.5 gpm from the buffer tank and it was last a good while depending on if you water source from the house can keep up.
Dude, just want to say thanks for the videos and info. Built the same setup pretty much. What kind of wand are you using or recommend with this? I have the dn10 setup and a 20" cleaner but no wand yet. Thanks man!
Thank you, Jeremy, for the great YT contents. I’m on a dilemma; build this gear drive pressure washer for $1,800 or buy an 8 GPM / 2500 psi belt drive already assembled with free shipping for $ 2,200. The reason for the dilemma is in the Facebook groups (PW community) they are 50/50 divided (belt / gear). What would you recommend since you had a chance to use it? Thank you again for your input. Regards, Robson - Charlotte, NC.
Hey man did you have any issues with the pump not pulling water out of the buffer tank? I’m doing the same setup but with the 459cc and its like the pump isn’t even trying to pull water.
There is a inlet hose coming from the water tank and an outlet hose going to the pump. There is a hose on the bottom of the filter and that will allow you to drain your tank if your need to
Wonderful series that you put together for this system. I'm revamping my whole system and your videos are a blueprint for getting rolling to be more efficient and ultimately more profitable. Thanks a bunch. BTW what size 'Y' strainer is that and what size is that blue drain hose? Been digging your other videos as well.
Hi I need help! I purchased all the items from your google docs but now I’m not sure how to connect the yellow bypass hose to the unloader unfortunately it’s not on the video. Thanks again for sharing your knowledge.
@@KentuckyWashPros do you run the 19” whisper wash like the build sheet called for? If I do this setup I’ve considered going with a Honda gx390 but apparently you can only run a 16” because it doesn’t make as much power as the predator

@@KentuckyWashProsAwesome! I hoping to finish my build up this week and try it out over the weekend! Thanks for taking the time to answer my questions!
@@KentuckyWashProsOne more question if you don’t mind me asking. When the pump and gearbox was delivered it had a tag saying add 10oz of 80W-90 gear oil. 3/8 mnpt to 3/8 barb

Where did you buy the water filter..?

I got the plumbing kit from pressure washer products

Everything is working great other than an operator error when winterizing the pump but that was fixed and everything was good.

How did this perform? I just ordered the pump. I didn't see much of a review after you built it.
It performs great. It’s a house washing beast.

The injector goes after your pump and before your hose or reel however you have it setup
