CAPTAIN O'KANE (O'Carolan) harp solo by Anne Crosby Gaudet

- Feel the solitude of gently rolling waves in this beautiful intermediate harp arrangement of Turlough O'Carolan's Captain O'Kane. This traditional Irish tune pairs beautifully with "Mermaid's Tears" and both are written in E minor for intermediate harp. Right hand fingerings and chord symbols have been included throughout the score. The left hand uses 10th patterns and some slightly more advanced rhythms for expressive texture.
In this video I am playing the Dusty Strings FH36S in walnut.

Noticed you did the wide intervals in the left hand with an open hand. I don't - is this bad? I have very long hands so that might be helping.
Samantha Thompson Yes I do those 10ths with flat hand for muffling as I go.

I just looked that up, yes the soundtrack to Fate does use Captain O'Kane
