In fewest words, Bill was a genius.
There's something that's startlingly psychedelic/avant garde about the flow of this game. Bill Williams had a talent for making video games that, to this day, feel like nothing else ever made by anyone. Mindwalker is dying for a playable modern version, but I honestly don't think it's possible to "remake" the game without losing the unique character that Bill put into things. The man was an auter before his time.

I love everything about this game from the intro great gameplay humour and endind. Such an underrated game. My top 3 with Boulder Dash and River Raid.

I loved Agent USA. It had perfect theme song. And what I played a lot with my brother was Spy vs. Spy and M.U.L.E. By the way, MULE have modern version. www.mulereturns.com/

I used to play Archon with my sister. She was deadly with the basilisk.
I was playing this on my Atari computer at the age of 7 or 8. I had no idea WTF I was doing.
Oh this version is a faster than the MSDOS! This is just crazy lol

The best version was on Atari XE sharpest graphics, faster and joystick is better than keyboard or pads. Playing it You feel like You are controlling a cat on speed lol
Seba Sea Ooh, faster? Lol the cat used to be real fast on the PC, I can't imagine how crazy is to control it faster than this :)
And this is running at the sluggish PAL frame rate. Really murders the peppy theme song.
This was so funny and entertaining, I loved this as a kid, but I didn't get all the humour.
Like how cats need clothes or fabric to be able to stick, or like the literal "falling out of love" @6:40. (The kitty love is so adorable when it happens.)

Intro music is 1/2 speed. Play video at 2x speed to hear the theme song properly
it's because PAL system was used. You mean the NTSC system, where the speed is on 60Hz, and for PAL is 50Hz.

Damn, I had no idea this was an Atari game. I remember playing the DOS version so so many years ago. This looks fantastic! Really genius and orignal game for its time. Especially compared to the so many generic games that were available.
I remember playing this on IBM PC. And if i ever get myself the Atari 800XL computer, then i better hope that i could also find this classic game. =)

How the hell did Bill get these sound effects from the Pokey? The Bubbly water, shock effects, miawing etc etc. I've never heard anything like it on an Atari, since.
