Pete, really enjoyed this podcast bro. I’ve been watching my attention span shorten over the years so I really appreciate longer stuff like this that is able to hold my attention. It forces me to slow down and absorb what’s actually going on.
I also wanted to wanted to say how much relief I gained from hearing both of you openly talk about how content creating is work, it’s hard, and there’s a small sense of not knowing why something works. From the outside it looks like you guys have every step strategically planned and know exactly what you’re doing and it comes easy, while the rest of us feel like we have no clue what’s happening. lol.

I have been waiting for this, you are so good in convo, there is so much info sipping out with this format. If you guys have been to one of Peters meetups then you know what I'm talking about specially when he has have other creators with him. For example they talked about their process from step one to the final product is like. It was totally different and both work. As a video creator you will love this format. 😍

Absolutely love and can emphasize so much with what's been said. I swear I turn around and the FB memories pop up and look at my now 17 yr old daughter & SMH like where did time go. Also trying to do CZcams and work a day job has been very difficult and I incorporated last year and it's been nothing but build up. Thanks for all the content Pete and gueast!

I totally agree 18:10 😅. Several of my shorts skyrocket on reels but they stagnate on YT, which is super annoying. I love YT way more, so I'mma stick here. But I yearn for a world rid of pure engagement driven algorithms.

We went from waiting a week to see content from our favourite creators on CZcams to an influx of information and overwhelming amount of content every time we open our phone. I think people are starting to get annoyed with short form now! I really hope that short form starts to fade out and slow down... and content becomes normal again!
My honest wish is to watch more videos like those awesome commercials that you've done so far.

I really like the look Pete, just the horizon in the wide shot at the top is a little distracting I wish it goes all the way up but nice clean look.

What did you use for the multi-cam setup? Was looking into the ATEM Mini Pro ISO recently but dissapointed it's only 1080p; wondering how other people are optimising their multi-cam setup; Was trying to avoid having to run between each camera starting them, stopping them, collecting SD cards, trying to line up the footage afterwards etc.
I just placed 3 cameras and then edited in post

It's ironic how this episode is about short form being dead - but long form isn't because short form content can be made from long form.
What I find is crazy is I thought camera content would get more short from content views on CZcams than tik Tok and I'm seeing 300 times more views on this type of content on tik Tok than what I see on CZcams shorts .

Secretly short-form creators wish they were long-form creators, I mean don’t your catalog ‘look better’ when it’s filled with long-form content? But in all honesty, I think both long-form content for sustainability with a touch of short-form for reach is the essential formula nowadays
