@@WandamianCrucifixplate you are 100% correct, but coming from personal experience, it's SO easy to get dehydrated while out there without even realizing it! Came home to experience kidney stones directly from dehydration.
You are absolutely correct about everything you said, BUT, it's still hard for someone who ISN'T gambling to get a drink for free. And it's getting worse. Circa, for instance, gives you a drink voucher that comes directly outta the machine once you hit a certain level of play. Ridiculous. I do imagine eventually ALL casinos will go to that form of drink giving to save money AND force more gambling....all over a drink.

I remember the "good old days" when Vegas casinos figured they were in the gambling business, so they would offer cheap food and rooms to get you in the door to gamble. Now the business model is that they are in the tourist gouging business, and everything: Rooms, food, drinks, parking, water, and especially the gambling, is a complete ripoff. Good video Jacob. When I lived in Vegas, one of the biggest problems was dehydration. The hospital ER's were filled with people every day. This will cast a subliminal idea that casinos care about you. People will fall in love with this casino and won't know why. Think about it. While people at other casinos are uncomfortable because they can't get something as simple as a drink of water, people who do, or do not drink alcohol will feel more more comfortable here. Likely you will see more casinos doing this. This is marketing genius.

MGM near me has a pop/coffee dispenser for free drinks, same for hollywood casino. However, the other couple in the general area you have to go to bar and ask for it. Hollywood actually has a robot that just carries around bottled water you can grab as it rolls by.

Hilton Grand Vacations Club (entrance from Miracle Mile Mall) has a bottle filler near the lobby bathrooms. Not a casino, but it's accessible to the public.

That's pretty awesome they give you free water. Specially out in the middle of the desert where water is needed more than virtually everything else.

Never had that problem in Arizona. Cup of water is free but bottles aren’t. They also have water fountains.

Casinos in Blackhawk and Central City all have soda fountains that dispense free pop (usually with ridiculously small cups, but still). I don't expect to see that on the Strip in my lifetime.

Its required per code, most are likely right behind "employee only" doors. I bet there are plenty tucked away but still public.
