Cole Palmer was the reason that Chelsea won any games during the first half of the season. The second half success is not down to him, it’s down to Chelsea developing a team mentality…not before time.
i'm still going to put the second half on Palmer. the few games without him looked just so much more horrendous
They were a laughing stock in the eyes of trouble making media pundits and angry ,toxic so called fans who had no patience and knew little about football. Then there were those os who expected a season of transition and pain with a happy ending. The transition and progression continues towards top 4 and pl title challenge in 25/26
Nothing is going to change next season. The mentality that Poch implements is too "friendly" to win any titles. The manager is not your "buddy", and should be respected and nearly feared. Bring back Tuchel!

My expectations were really low but…..from almost losing our club altogether to brand new ownership with 3 different managers with 3 different training & game tactics/strategies, players coming in & out & loss of leadership, coming from 12th place to having the chance to actually finish 5th with a squad of inexperienced kids with little to no EPL appearances coming to a new city and/or country which on average was the youngest team in the EPL while utilizing the oldest player in the EPL at CB & setting an EPL record for injuries in a season is absolutely acceptable for me.
In closing, I expect top 4 next year & competing for the EPL trophy the following season.

We were Never in any Danger of Losing our Club - this is a Laughable cope..... This season was a Failure - Chelsea finishing 6th was a failure before Roman even arrived.....I do give Poch a great deal of credit - he's not a great Manager but dealing w/ the career failure Directors & the completely unqualified Private Equity Donkeys & finishing strong was admirable...... but you dont drop the standards - you throw the clown owners out

The new owners have done a great job in the transfer market. Just again last week it was confirmed how Chelsea have secured the signing of a highly rated young Brazilian player. It's great to see Chelsea competing with the likes of Real Madrid & Barcelona for these young players from Sth America.
It seems that all those journalists & pundits that insisted Chelsea couldn't sign any more players until they've sold a few were a bit off the mark, again.

Finishing this season with 5 wins will provide for a great starting platform for next season.

Poch should be sacked still. Took him until the end of the season to start picking up form. Looks like him and the players are worried about their future’s now it’s the end of the season and all of a sudden playing well. Poch constantly talking about Spurs while being Chelsea’s manager is a disgrace. Even 2 days ago in his press conference saying he don’t wish back luck on spurs. What’s he on about? Chelsea needs spurs to have bad luck to get 5th place. People flip flopping saying Poch in now are just as bad as him.
So reactionary to think that it wouldn’t take more than 1 season to get things going in the right direction with all the changes managing a football club isn’t like FIFA 😂
@@br-fitnessPlaying players out of position all season like Colwill LB while Chelsea had Maatsen on the bench who was a LB. Now Maatsen is in the UCL final cause Poch didn’t want him at Chelsea. Playing Chilwell LW and playing Enzo with an injury for 8 months when we could all see he was slowing the game down. Poch hasn’t once gone over to the fans to clap them at the end of the games as well. He needs to just go back to spurs.
@@CrispyBaconRoIl Chilwell had around 3 games as a winger and whilst Maatsen was a mistake, we don’t know whether he could’ve as consistent in the PL(which is on Pochettino for not playing him). They both faced injuries but poch took a team from 12th almost 20 points less to 6th. Ten haag invested almost 200 mil on a squad he finished top 4 with last season to finish 8th. Its all context ten haag deserves criticism so does poch but poch its his first season.
@@eeee1185 Poch inherited a full expensive squad! To be honest the jury has to be out on them both and they both should have a run off next season. TenHagg won the PeekaBoo and finished 3rd in his first! Poch lost in the PeekaBoo final to Liverpools academy kids and finished 6th.

Chelsea also still had a younger side than Liverpool for the cup final even after they bought their youngsters on. We have so much room to grow and develop, whereas United’s players (apart from Garnacho and Mainoo) are all reaching their primes or past them.
