You guys have become by far my favorite CZcams travel vloggers. Your relationship is so cute your personalities are just so quirky and unique just like my own. But to me most importantly your content is still relatable. You haven't got so big, that you're doing things that just seem so out of the realm of possibility. And you haven't grown so exponentially, that you've lost touch with your fan base and you just seem so down to earth still and relatable and I super appreciate that!!

This just doesn't feel like a castle to me. It's a house with a watchtower for some reason that has a nice exterior stone wall.
It's a nice house to stay in at least.

If you guys are into castles, consider checking out the Kentucky Castle in Versailles (just outside of Lexington) whenever you make it to the Bluegrass State. You can’t rent the whole thing (it’s massive), but it’ll give you much stronger castle vibes.
Love your castle. It seems like you really like Arkansas. When your travel to different states it shows there's so much more than people talk about. You really help the tourist business!
Oh Allison and Eric. Thank you for sharing your story. We are REALLY old now and thought about touring the US when we were young. We did not because of unfortunate circumstances. We live vicariously through you guys. Thank you for this experience through our living room.

Such an amazing Castle tour and overnighter. How fun that would be for a wedding and a few guests. Or maybe a surprise party. So Clementine had to stay back home on the porch while Ruby flew on the magic carpet to the castle of intrigue. How fun!

Love this video - it's so funny how when you've done a renovation you find yourself looking at construction and materials and methods when you go to other homes or buildings. We did the exact same when we renovated our home!

Good for you guys! It helps to break up the monotony when you mix it up. Travel by RV doesn't mean you ALWAYS have to stay in the RV. This place looks terrific!

I have lived here 22 years now and since I moved from Tennessee to Arkansas back in 2000 my goal and dream has always been to be able to live in Eureka permanently.Im so happy that I'm finally almost able to make that goal and dream come true!!! I like large living space if ditch standard drywall for your house build, safer for future remodelers, as overtime causes asthma like conditions...or trial to update as need plastic covers and vacuum for air work conditions.
Four ft double walled rammed earth lasts longer and can be sealed or polished if needed. Allows inexpensive large rooms if diy. Have rv, perfect "trailer" to build healthy castle. Guédelon Castle in Treigny, Yonne, Burgundy,

Hi guys great Vid. For starting charcoal grills I always used a propane torch to start it. No need for starter fluid with it's taste and smell. Just apply heat to the corner of the coal till it starts to turn grey and move till you have enough for it to spread.
There are two castles on private islands in NY in the 1000 Islands - Boldt and Singer - and you can spend the night in one of them....(Singer Castle on Dark Island). You two would love both of them I bet. :)

Hi Alison in answer to your question about bathrooms. In medieval times everyone bathed in public bath houses or if there was a river by the local village people would congregate there and have a soak. The bath houses did get into trouble with the church as it was also a place where women of 'ill repute' would meet with clients.
So a fun fact about your Castle , that vine that was growing up the castle wall is called a Wisteria flowering vine one of my Favorite vines it get a beautiful Purple cluster of flowers in the Spring time. The flower does not last to long but it is very magical when it’s in bloom , I had one on my front porch in Pennsylvania and I trained it to be a shade owing that covered about thirty feet I keeper it train and birds would nest in it , that was very cool to see , Love you guys ….
