I am impressed by many parts of this video, chief among them, this man knows how to keep his 10mm tools away from the gnomes.
Thanks, I think???
Have now used this to clean house siding and it performed well czcams.com/users/postUgkx43QMbQqu67IZadu9ou8Sg1BdrunMRNqX I also bought some wand extensions which enabled higher washing without needing a ladder. I recommend both. This unit arrived quickly, was easy to assemble (only had to attach the handle), and arrived in perfect condition. The only very slight downgrade from a perfect score is the design has a low handle and requires pulling from the side. My old washer was an upright model, while this one is more horizontal. Other than that, it's perfect for my needs. It has a great deal of pressure and more easily cleaned the house siding, porch rails and concrete than did my older model. The engine is a bit louder, as well, but the total time to clean was reduced by the more powerful spray. Did I mention it starts on the first or second pull every time?!! I am definitely happy with this model.
You tha man!
Cheers Mike from across the Atlantic. Back up and running thanks to your generosity of spirit. 👌
That is great news! Glad I could help from a few thousand miles away.
Wow. Took 3 min to fix after sitting for 10 years. Thank you!!!!!
Wow that is sweet congratulations
Thanks Mike from over in Sydney Australia. You saved me from buyting a new motor at AUD$875 or a AUD$300 service cost. cheers Paul
Good Day! Glad it helped
Great video. followed it and afterwards my GX200 started right up and running smooth. Thank you!
Get’r done!
That trick just worked for me! Thanks dude! Uncrewed that jet, cleaned it- fired right up like a bossanova!
Haha nice! You are winning
Another great video,MM. We love the up close camera views as your working 💪 👷♂️ 👏
Thanks! Was relieved when she started up!
@@MowerMike yes indeed that is always a good thing
After the nain jet is removed take a small screw driver and in the throt of the carb push that brass jet down comes out the same place the main jet does there is little holes on it that like to plug up I've been a small engine mechanic for 20 years but I like watching videos because there is always somthing new to learn no matter how long you've been doing it I usually have to pull that little nozzle
Excellent point. I am no professional for sure.
It's called an emulsion tube.
Yeah, great video! All of that oil was just from when the motor had been flipped upside down. Hondas are amazing. I have a 1986 Honda GX 340 on a commercial pressure washer also with the original pump. Still runs like a new one. Has been put through the wringer. It does not smoke and starts right up.
Yep they are the best for sure
Your the man MOTOR MIKE! 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙌🏼
This video completely solved my problem. Thank you very much.
That is great, glad to help out
Thank you so much, you’re troubleshooting was right on! IOU a beer or two but in the meantime, I wish you all the best!😊🍻
Glad it helped! Nothing like a good fix
Thanks sooo much 😊worked just like u described! Didn’t need to pull the jet on the carb! Sprayed it out and put back together fires right up!!!
Excellent, well done!
Thanks for sharing this video. It’s helpful to get my Honda pressure washer working again.
Glad ya got her running again, that Honda is a great little engine.
I'm going to tackle mine tomorrow!
MANN I LOVE YOU THIS ACTUALLY FIXED MY PRESSURE WASHER❤❤❤❤
Love you too brother! Now get to pressure washing :)
Tried everything and this worked thank you very much!
Hey great news, glad ya got her fixed.
Awesome. Have a GX200 to bring back to life.
They are great little motors
You’re the man. This solved my issue. One season of ethanol in a Honda G200 gummed me up. Your fix helped me out!
Glad it helps, they gum up quick. Use ethanol free fuel will fix that real quick.
Thank you soo mutch for your ideas
I have a bunch of them! They are not all good ideas so be careful haha
Great video, started first shot after
Great news, well done!
Thank you! You brought back our gx 160 haha
They are good little motors glad I could help.
Awesome! Thanks. Very useful.
Glad it helped these are great motors
Got it running, thanks!
Way to go!
I am from Bangladesh, wonderful video brother.
Wow not sure where that is but glad it helped! Crazy
Towards the base of the carb There’s a filter housing that you can put a wrench on to take it off odds are the ethanol gummed it up a bit too.
Good point Mr Eddy
Thanks for the video! First pull starts now not 20 haha!
Small improvement:)
I can DO that! Thanks!
Ya damn right you got this!
I like it. Thanks
Glad it heped
Thanks Man!!!!
You got it Mike
Thank You!!
You're welcome!
Strapped one of these motors to a mini bike and man it rips havent changed the oil in it for years though
Wow I bet that thing is a sweet ride.
@@MowerMikefor sure
Great video Mike, I was doing ok until bowl gasket came out and now can't get it back in!
Any ideas on how to get it back in? Or should I try get a new one?
Thanks again for great video
I suggest a new one. Once they get a little carb cleaner they get all out of wack. A trick is to order a new cheap China carb and use the gaskets off it.
Thanks Mike,
Best wishes for 2024 from Ireland 🎉
@@henn62 Oh wow thanks, I bet you have some thick grass out there!
so to clean the carb on a honda lawn mower which way do you tilt the mower to get easier access to do this no removal carb cleaning? do you tilt it straight up or put on its side?
Always tilt it back pushing the handle to the ground. It will spill fuel or oil any other way. Just put a weight on the handle on the ground
@@MowerMike Thanks. I did that. While poking around i took off the carb and notices it basically missing all the gaskets and the one near the air filter is shot and deteriorated. Could that be causing the issue i have with a Honda mower that starts first pull but has an uneven idle where it goes up and down slightly. The seller i bought it from left it outdoors uncovered. not sure if what else i should be looking for to get her running smooth again.
Nice thank you
Glad it worked out!
Good class
Thanka
Main jet was blocked, cleared it and fired up. Cheers!
Great news, glad it helped
Great job man!
Thanks, I was pretty pumped when it started right up
I noticed you didn't bother putting water in the pump do you have a video on how to replace the seals in the pump?just curious
Nope that is beyond my knowledge. Just a weekend warrior here, good luck
Sweet!
Score
Mine had another pin type thing with holes in it that fell out now im not sure which way it went....
That slides back in the hole where the main jet is, check other Honda carb videos it will show that piece.
@@MowerMike got it! Mt concern was which way, all back n running thanks!
your killing my short cuts i have used for many years
Lol not sure what I did to your shirt cuts? Is just a goofy CZcams video.
Ty
YW
Will it suck the chrome off a tailpipe?
Am not going there
Hey I’m having problems with mines it just turn off every 5 minutes
Check that it is getting fuel, sounds like a dirty fuel filter or a clocked float needle in the carb
My question is wat if the oil has rushed down in the cylinder & gotten into the carb & air filter...my engine tipped over & that happened
I would tilt it back over and make sure it has the proper level of oil. See if it starts. If it doesn’t then clean out the carb. Having oil in the cylinder is no big deal what little is there will burn off
@@MowerMike thanks for the response, it definitely had oil in the carb & there was also oil in the "chamber" where the spark plug screws into. Had to take the spark plug out to even pull the cord bcuz it was almost impossible to pull, but once it all cleared up after about 100 pulls I put the plug back in n 1 pull started it
@@xo_dre0728 That is awesome congrats on the fix
Remember when you wanna empty the excess gas from last season, quickest way is to just turn her upside down.
Gravity works great doesn’t it
Need to clean emulation tube
And what is the emulation tube? That is a new one to me.
@@MowerMike after you take out main jet there is a tube inside filled with holes that clog up, that’s the most important part that needs to be cleaned.
@@jumperg1 I appreciate the input I am doing my research on that for sure.
The word is EMULSION TUBE. It mixes air bubbles into the gasoline to aid in the transition from the IDLE circuit to the hi speed circuit -- to reduce stumble upon acceleration!
GOOD JOB , NOW MY SMALL ENGINE MECHANIC , CANT BULL$HIT ME NO MORE AND CHARGED ME🤣🤣 AN ARM AND A LEG
Haha thanks, glad I can help your bullshit meter. It is a very simple engine.
Hate to be critical BUT after 7 years of sitting without engine having run, WHY wouldn't you remove the long jet, the pilot jet, and the seidment bowl and clean each of them as well. It would have taken all of about 5 more minutes and I'm betting they would have had been gummed up as well. I wouln't pay for this kind of supposed "carb clean"!!
It is a very simple answer. It is because I am just a hobby mechanic I didn’t even think of that. I wouldn’t charge anyone for my mechanic work. Take it for what it is, free and hilarious advice ;)
Great video but I would have pressure washed that nasty engine first
Glad you enjoyed it, was a fun one
properly your missing the transfer tube can be a clog , an next comment its not the ethinol its the water in the fuel, and you can clean the low jet without removeing the carb
Yep I missed the step on the transfer tube.
“without carb removal”
-Thumbnail shows you literally holding carburetor out of the motor
Love it! Excellent eye sir. I wouldn’t trust anything this guy is saying!
HALH ASS way to rebuild a carb!
Yep it does haul ass!
Take it off and apart.
Totally agree
A lazy poor job, he didn't even clean the emulsion tube, the idle jet, or any of the fluid pathways.
I agree, atleast he had some hilarious one liners!!!
