Lets relate to my music background, the trim wheels are there to fine tune elevator pressures up and down, similar to "fine tuning my musical instrument" and some airplanes have yet another trim wheel for left and right rudder same thing use to "fine tune my rudder inputs".
Oh I wish my FI had used this technique to explain trim. As you say, the picture links to the actions immediately! As a student my next problem was being too quick to try and trim after a change in attitude, therefore appearing to use trim to set the attitude... 'check, hold, trim' needs to be said in the right cadence to get the timing right!
Thank you so much for all videos 😊 May you please tell me what I have to do during the climb trim up or trim down? And when I reach the target altitude what i have to trim up or down?
I know I forgot to keep trimming with lift off and trimmed on level of however still climbing as I looked to far ahead on horizon barley chasing the ball but turns and decent I always nail lol
Overwhelming👏thank You. Hi from Europe, from the Czech Republic, from Prague👍
Thanku I’m a student pilot here in America this lesson was a huge help !
I’m a student, really love your techniques. I always question my CFI for moving on to the next lesson without having me master the basics.

Nicely done! Thanks for taking time from your vacation to put this video out. Solid technique!
You bet!
I used this technique on my newest student and it worked great!
Great job!
When I am pushing or pulling to hold a certain airspeed or maintain a particular altitude, I trim the pressure off my arm so that I can relax it.
❤❤❤❤ it thanks great content.
Thank you so much for all videos 😊

Great TIP ! Thanks :) I am a student and I will apply those tips :)
Great!
I'm ignorant when it comes to aircraft details so forgive this question. I have heard of auto pilot of course, but do any airplanes have auto trim?
I'm a flight student and I struggle with this
