Early in my life I had for 3 years foster parents. I was 3 to 6, before I was adopted. You cannot believe the abuse my brother and I received from these two people, I was never sexually abused, but I was burned, scalded, hit with a base ball bat that knocked me across the room and rendered me unconscious . I was forced to eat soap, smoke cigars (he always was smoking them) and I have so many burn marks on my body from him burning me with his cigars. There are some really evil people in this world. This was back in the 1950s when people could get away with such things.
I had foster parents who brutalized my brother and me. They were not actors. They are dead now thank god. But who cares if these people are actors or just sadistic parents. I have more burn marks on my body from my foster father from his cigar than you can imagine. It started from when I was 3 years old, until 6 when I was adopted by a wonderful man and women. But back then I did get the belt, deservedly. Now today, you cannot do that.
I wasn't a child actor but my parents are involved in the same and the same was / is to this day still being done. 59 yrs later.
Sadly, the victims of these sick perverts are in each & every community. Rich, poor, black, white, male, female.
And the predators hunt every hour of their waking. It's their very first & number one consideration & then the rest of their life gets addressed.
When I think back to roughly three years ago & how people felt free to discuss all sorts of issues, but especially on this subject, people felt secure enough to talk about their experience & that can only be for the good of all concerned, excepting offenders.
Like domestic abuse, when people stay quiet & don't want to get involved & the subject is only whispered about, then these negative & terrible things not only continue, but thrive.

How these parents can basically sale their children for money is insane and heartbreaking. When the kids tried to tell they were called liars or just told to keep quiet. I always told my children and my grandchildren if someone hurts you physically, sexually, etc come tell me and your dad we will always believe you. If someone does something like that to you and tells you to not tell because no one believe you don't listen. Because we would believe you. I was sexually touched by a family member I immediately told my parents and grandma .. Their response was that I was either lying or exaggerating. And nothing was done to the man who touched me.
The only way to affect Hollywood is to not watch their movies. You are either the solution or, you play a part in the problem. So, today make it a priority to not watch the movies. Period.
