🎤 Audio gear for podcasts and CZcams Videos we use or recommend
For photo walks
►Rode Wireless GO II With 2x Rode Lavalier amzn.to/3QV0k0l
And in the studio we use
►Rode VideoMic GO II amzn.to/3Skp837
For podcasting I recommend using a dynamic microphone as it will reject a lot of room sound and background noise. The most important part is to make sure you are as close as you can comfortably be. Using a pop filter can help reduce sibilance and plosives as well.
We just got a new dedicated audio recorder that is a much better option than using the camera's audio input - TASCAM 4-Channel Portable Audio Recorder - amzn.to/3FWPZxy
►Rode PodMic Cardioid Dynamic Broadcast Microphone - amzn.to/3GmmlmG
►Samson Technologies Q2U amzn.to/3BzqP63
►Shure SM7B Vocal Dynamic Microphone amzn.to/3BAmFL4
Unless you have a really high quality preamp a level booster will give you a much cleaner sound
►Cloudlifter CL-1 Microphone Activator amzn.to/3DEuOkk
►Triton Audio FetHead amzn.to/3duCZFb
►Rode PSA1 Mic Arm amzn.to/3Uc3jno
Some Pop filter options - amzn.to/3Sp7KtU

GrainyDays sent me! Great stuff.
Hey 👋🏻 nice to meet you! Love GrainyDays! Glad you found and like my channel, got more videos coming up very soon 🎥🙋🏻♀️👍🏻
Sup GRAINYDAYS AMOR
Bring back Aerochrome!
If you like manual focussing try the Olympus XA. Very good 35mm f 2,8 lens. Fits in every tiny pocket.
Will check it out! I’ve never actually owned or sought out an Olympus camera in all my years of shooting so maybe it’s time. 👍🏻
That camera should be called the Canon Thiccboy, because that's literally my Canon Sure Shot Supreme, but on steroids 😂 Glad you're enjoying the community aspect of CZcams! Regarding Instagram, I post some of my work there, but honestly don't expect much from it...Keep it up!
Thanks for the comment Nuno! Haha yeah it’s not a bad little point and shoot 📸 yeah way more community feeling on here vs Instagram and enjoying it much more. 🙏🏻❤️📸
Love your channel, your photos and your enthusiasm for film. Your response to the lady that appeared to have a problem with you filming made me laugh… my feelings too !
Thank you lovely! This video is one of my older ones so I hope you’ve seen newer videos too. I fee presentation wasn’t as good here. Thank you 🙏🏻 oh yes haha I hate being told off or told what to do lol 😂
My subscription to this channel is going to be legendary. After this I know this channel is going to grow beautifully. Make me proud! 🧡
Wow 😯 thank you for subscribing and these powerful words! I hope you are right haha 😆 I’m just enjoying it as a hobby right now but would be so happy for it to grow and inspire people to get out and shoot. Thank you 🙏🏻
@@LucyLumen This channel is the only one which made me convinced after another female film photographer T.Hopper. Eagerly waiting to see your next content ✌🏻
@@Felhasz007 I’m out shooting some cinestill 800 film right now for another video! I LOVE T.hopper her channel is one of my favourite female photography channels! So honoured and flattered to be spoken about in the same sentence as her!!!!! 😊🥰🙏🏻🎞📸
@@LucyLumen I can smell that cinestill video reaching heights. Good luck
Also great video shooting as well and music! Awesome!
Subbed! The biographical notes are great. Thanks. Nothing cheesy about family nostalgia acquisitions. Wish I had my Mom's Brownie. Glad you re-acquired.
I like the shot @3:20, the column with the 4 lamps at the top.
Love the shots. Very cute and speaks a lot of sunny citys.
Love the video. I also love roaming the street and taking pics of things like mattresses against walls, so good to know I’m not alone haha keep up the good vibez lucy
I liked the spiral entrance/exit to the Paradise Centre apartments. Not just because you got in trouble, I like the framing. But maybe, I like it a little extra because you got in trouble 😊
Yeah love a bit of trouble haha 😆 i struggled to frame that one, I think that’s why I ended up getting in trouble actually cause I took too long. Thanks for watching Casey 🙏🏻📸❤️
I have two of these and love them! Very rare to find multiple exposure mode in a point and shoot :)
Hey Matt 👋🏻 thanks for watching. That’s awesome you also own two of these, it’s a neat little camera 📸 yeah ME feature is cool! I bet you have an awesome camera collection Matt?? Also I have some SX70 film on the way to put in my one step so will be doing a video on that too soon. 👍🏻
@@LucyLumen No worries, was a great video! I ended up with two of these and thought they were horrible UNTIL I started using one, absolutely love it! I was going to sell one but I want to keep it as a back up now in case anything happens to the first ha ha. I have too many cameras... no Leica or Hasselblad but plenty of Canon, Olympus, Pentax, and Fujifilm :)
Oh and plenty of Polaroids! Yeah, shoot that SX-70 film!!
Love the vibe!
Thank you for watching Dominic 📸❤️
Just been sent here by your fella. We are on the same camera group. I like your videos, I love the style you are going for.
The music is also great and helps you slip in to the right mind set. I don't have alot of money for cameras so videos like this are great inspiration for me. ❤️
Hey Daniel 👋🏻 wow thank you 🙏🏻 such nice feedback! So stoked you like the vids, my partner makes all the music too haha so he will be really happy you’ve said this🎵👍🏻😂
I hear you, cameras and everything that goes with them are hell expensive and everyone is always reviewing and lusting after the pricey ones but you can pick up some cheap cameras and get sick photos still! Thanks for watching and commenting Daniel. Got a night photography photo walk video coming up soon just waiting for the film to be developed 🎞📸 stay tuned 🙏🏻👍🏻👋🏻
I like the high building at 5:15 the most. Nice perspective and colors, but the building seems not very cozy.
Wow Lucy your videos just keep getting better! So rare to see someone be so talented in front of and behind a camera. Amazing results for such a cheap and forgotten about point and shoot. Keeping all the big channels on their toes ;)
loved the framing of 3:14 & 3:21, very good for a "cheap" point and shoot - happy national camera day (:
Hey Nick 👋🏻 thank you for watching and commenting. I know this wasn’t cheap in its day but it’s cheaper than a lot of other point and shoots on the market right now. Yes 📸🎉 happy national camera day to you too! We are in lockdown so can’t go out and shoot unfortunately but will def be binging some CZcams photography videos. 📸❤️🎞
When I was really little, I had an older little Olympus, but my parents got my sisters Autoboy 80s. It's funny to think about since I still have my little Olympus and I still use it, but I'm not sure about the Autoboys. I think my mom must have tossed them 🤦🏻♀️ we didn't use them super long because digital was big and I ended up with a little pink Canon and my sister had a blue one. I used the pink Canon to document my doll tea parties. Fun times
I was looking into buying an Autoboy! Great video, per usual!
Thanks lovely 🙏🏻 oh really? Yeah it’s a good camera I was surprised with the images…but I think you made the right decision with your Olympus mju though!! Thanks or watching. ❤️
I can highly recommend the following channels here: "T. Hopper" from England, "grainydays" from California,
"S & J Analog Club" from California, "Paul C Smith Photographer" from New Zealand, "Pushing Film" from Australia and "Rothera Photographer".
Thank you 🙏🏻 always on the look out for other great channels especially female photography ones as they seem harder to come across/not as popular!? T hopper is amazing I love her artist profiles and her videos on cinema inspiring photography 👍🏻 grainy days is a welcome bit of humour in the photo world, love his channel! Pushing film I have watched before but the others I haven’t so will check them out! Thanks for the recommendations you are a great support to the analog community 📸🙏🏻🎞
@@LucyLumen female photography : "Talya Adams"
@@LucyLumen Definitely check out Karin Majoka here on CZcams then. She's a wonderful photographer.
@@HalidesAndHollowness yes I love her! She is knowledgeable, funny and has great content. I loved her film fridge video and the spreadsheet she made for all her films, so organised! 👍🏻📸🎞❤️
So cool that you're also a fellow Australian!!! Insane shots as per usual, my favourite one is the ice-cream cone
Hey 👋🏻 Dalena thanks for watching! Glad you like the ice cream one that’s one of my favs too 🍦☺️📸❤️
Thank you for sharing your love for the simple things yet such a big statement if you will. Thank you for just doing you & your perspective in your own realm.
CaVera from “The Bronx, NYC”
Wow thank you for such a nice comment! I appreciate it. Stay safe in NYC 🙏🏻❤️📸
The Gish guitar story! What an awesome reference 🤘
Haha awesome love love that reference I know it’s kind of an obscure one. Love the first three pumpkins albums so much. Are you a big fan? If so which album is your favourite?! Thanks for watching too, appreciate it 🙏🏻📸👍🏻❤️
@@LucyLumen Big fan of the first three (and Oceania). Melon Collie was always my favourite until recent years where Siamese dream surpassed it. Hummer being my all time favourite (what's yours?) Also, loving the video's, recently subscribed (saw you mentioned in a recent Grainy days vid).
@@Nieuwhollands Mellon collie is my favourite but followed so closely by Siamese and Hummer is my favourite song on that too! Love the build and lyric “life’s a bummer when you’re a hummer” those three albums were so huge for me a teen and still are now! Nice to talk to a fellow fan 👍🏻 and that’s awesome you found me through grainy days, love his channel and sense of humour and was so stoked to be mentioned by him! Such a legend. Got lots more vids planned so stay tuned. ❤️🙋🏻♀️📸
@@LucyLumen Enjoy the attention of all the new visitors to your channel :)
If I may make a musical suggestion, if you love the dreamy melody and musical aggression of the Pumpkins like I do you might enjoy the self titled album of "Big Jesus" (their debut album).
Thanks for the banter, Lucy!
@@LucyLumen Just randomly popped into my head that the aforementioned album is actually called "Oneric" and not self titled. Brainfart
I have just found your channel , its really great thanks !
Hey Dave! Thank you so much I’m glad you are enjoying it. I also have a podcast as well and a free weekly newsletter sharing more of my thoughts on photography. It’s all linked in the description of most of the videos! 🤗📸🎞️👍🏻
5:52 love it
Hey Francis 👋🏻 thank you so much for watching! Glad you like that shot 😊 thanks for commenting to let me know. Editing another photo walk today will be up very soon! 📸🎞🙏🏻
@@LucyLumen looking forward to more ✌🏼
I love your style
Thank you so much lovely!
More beach photography would be great 👍🏼
We have some coming up!
You have an interesting eye for film. Thanks for sharing!
i have this camera. i think its really cool that its old it was released in 1986 and has zoom it takes very nice photos
Awesome video and cool story about the camera! Great photos too! :)
Thank you 🙏🏻 Im glad you enjoyed it
Should have started with the family camera comment, too cute😢
really enjoyed the video, very interesting canon and great photos! best regards from Germany :)
Hey 👋🏻 thank you for watching and commenting! Glad you enjoyed it and so happy to share beautiful Australia with people around the world! More videos coming soon, stay tuned 🎞📸❤️
Nice shots!
Thanks so much Andy! 👋🏻📸🙏🏻
The 40-70 isn't the most fun to shoot with, but the photos from it are consistently good. According to Canon it was $361+ when it came out in 1987. Enough, I paid about that for an Elan II e a decade later.
nice. im using canon autoboy 2
Hey 👋🏻 thanks for watching! Awesome, all the auto boy cameras are actually really good, super underrated! 📸 ❤️
I'm heading to the beach this weekend (greetings from Chile) and I hope to get a couple of nice shots with my Konica point and shoot =)
Your photo style is very inspiring so i'll keep it mind while on film walk.
Hey Diego, Konica point and shoot sounds sweet and so does the beach 🏝 I hope you get some rad shots and I’m super stoked I could inspire you that is like the best thing ever!!! Thanks for watching 🙋🏻♀️❤️👍🏻
Yes, why is the fire hose blue?
Hope you can shoot and review a Konica Recorder half-frame.
I’ve been wanting to try half frame for ages! I’ve borrowed a Pen FT from a friend so video coming on that soon!
Do you prefer this camera to beginner?
What is name of the camera did you mention?
Hey lovely thank you for watching. This camera is called the "Canon Sure Shot Tele" or sometimes in another countries the "Canon Auto Boy" Hope you enjoyed the video :)
Pumpkins were my jam back in the day, but Billy's not so cool these days. There are no heroes.
Yes I agree with you about billy. The new pumpkins stuff is awful. Just first three albums are amazing. Generally I always like bands first few things better. Thanks for watching hope you enjoyed 😊🙏🏻
@@LucyLumen not just the new music sucks. He's also become like a crazy reactionary and hangs out with people like alex jones and shit. Guess that's more what i meant 😉
@@LucyLumen also great videos, I'm binging so please keep it up :)
Hey your B/F introduce your channel to me on F/B! You are good! You look good, speaks well and photogenic! I am in love! Sorry BF! Kidding la~! You have good eyes! I have same camera and I love that one! You are great photographer! Keep on doing what you doing! Amazing!
Hey, so glad you like the channel and my photography that really means a lot! My BF is always trying to get the videos out there he is very supportive and we both put in a lot of effort with the videos so nice to hear you are a fan. stay tuned for more. :)
watching that video I was wandering what's the result she gets. there is nothing interesting at first glance. But the pics are great! That green in your outfit is also cool! =)
Thank you lovely! I’m glad you liked the shots I got, this camera is a real gem. Thank you, that green colour really pops. Hope you enjoy my other videos too, I have one going live in a few hours! 🙏🏻🙋🏻♀️📸🎞
What location were these photos taken?
Hey this was shot on the Gold Coast in the Tugun area!
Sorry I mean it's Surfers Paradise.. Tugan was one of my other videos around the same time. Thanks for watching lovely!
What camera is this?
It’s a canon sure shot Tele sometimes called the canon auto boy as well. It’s a really great camera!! Thanks for watching
@@LucyLumen thank you so much.
U have heart I just got one today I'm in New Mexico I about to run a train on mine now love you an story amor
One word, LUSH!
Thanks for watching! LUSH 😍
Visit "analog insights". A cool channel here from Germany. In english of course.
I have just subscribed to them now thank you! I think I had seen one or two of their videos before. 🙏🏻🎞👍🏻
