- Just because I could. It takes a long time to save up this kind of money and once you do you can buy pretty much anything so naturally I buy a sword. Along with this I unlock the bow which is very expensive but unlocks a new game mechanic and earns a ton more souls which turn into big permanent upgrades. By the end we've earned nonillions of dollars and are making more than ever before.

Most gear upgrades have achievements up to lvl 500. There are also more hidden achievements if you check it

You get an achievement for every 50 levels you buy for each piece of equipment.
just watching the start of this makes me want to scream because DF isnt buying alot of all the equipment like he should be for more upgrades, and souls bonus since swords and daggers boost souls.

EDIT:. I upgrade all equipment as I go...and all upgrades except for the vertical magnet for the bonus box.
Also the bow which they already were doing. I think there are two upgrades from the bow that increases soul gain too.
DF should try getting the stability and multi arrow upgrades for the bow from ascension. They're very productive ascension upgrades.
I agree. I enjoy watching his videos, but, for someone who has played a LOT of clicker/idle games, he sure doesn't seem to understand how they actually work. I prefer buying 10 of each upgrade to begin with till I hit the necklace, then buy them up to 50 of each (So, 40 of each one), then buy them in their 50's till I can't afford anymore.
I started playing this because of him too, and I'm quite far ahead of him (without spending any money on it, though I've just brought the remove adds thing).
heres a tip:
upgrading the ring gives you better magnetic pull for rings.
boots unlock faster boosts with slightly shorter cooldowns.
upgrading the bow makes it give a 100% soul bonus for using the bow after a certain level.
and upgrading everything else gives you a LOT more achievements.
you get achievements for actually completing the bonus portal.
there are hidden achievements you can find out about at the bottom of the achievements list that are easy enough to get
A DF video is a great way to end the day and makes the next day a whole lot better.

There's an achievement for jumping off a box and for buying 50+ upgrades in bulk with that grey button "buy all available"
There is also one for buying 100+ upgrades at once as well.
And 150, 200, 250, 300, 350, 400, 450, and 500.
Unfortunately, you've gotten to the grindiest part of the game. I'm still stuck trying to get past the gloves to better items and I've been playing for a while now.

Keep up the good content man and remember to upgrade all equipment in order to unlock better boosts and magnrts which ur gonna love and make it faster to get slayer points amd CpS

Either way, even a 100x Multiplier will only get you so far. Acending and getting the correct Upgrades in the meantime is what gets you far. I have played for about 2 weeks pretty actively and pretty much everything Costs over 1K Slayer Points. Not to forget the Souls Needed to get another SP increases with every SP you get, so using the 100x Bonus and getting Bad Upgrades can actually Lock you Out of more stuff. For a time Like that, Minions are your only saviour, and those need a Lot of time, and active playing to begin giving Profit. The Point DF is at rn Goldwise is actually a huge Brick Wall where you don't get much farther. And until a Certain Quest is done, which requires a specific Upgrade, Gold is something that won't Bring you any farther. While yes a 100x Souls boost certainly helps, it needs perhaps one or two Ascentions inbetween to really be Worth it, and each Ascention costs time to get Back Up. The upcoming Part is Just Generally very slow, and Not easily passed by idling for a Week or two, Like DF is going to.
Not that I actually spent Money on the Game to Check how fast a 100x Soul Multiplier becomes minimal Gain until a next SP.

hey DF try enabling the 'rounded buy' option in the settings, it lets you buy up to the next multiple of 10, 50, etc. makes it easy to hit the x50 and x00 breakpoints for achievements and upgrades
The “x2 coins during boost” and the “each coin takes 2% off your boost cooldown” prestige upgrades work really good together

fun fact DF, the coin magnet gets better if all of your armor is up to 200's, you barely have to jump and you make more money when there's a coin wave.

Love watching your videos! I know this is 2 months old but you could have gotten double the amount of souls from last episode to this episode. You get 1% souls for every dagger level which you jumped up to 250 but you could have done the same for your sword and gotten an additional 500 because you have plus 1% for every level of sword too which you've gotten to level 500.

You make more from coins and enemies while dashing, the bow kill bonus souls upgrade just makes it equivalent to the bonus you get while dashing.
In terms of upgrades, you want to focus at this point on your sword, dagger, axe, and then bow for max bonus while not logged in [your ascendant perks boost off of the first 3 here].
Your boots and ring help dramatically while playing after lvl 300 (to like 400 or so, that's about as far as I have pushed them) give you bonuses for magnetism and speed boost.
FINALLY HE DISCOVERS THAT!!!
if you open the ascension window, you can stock up silver boxes because they won't spawn while the ascension window is full screen (doesnt work in landscape view)
just check back every now and then to get 4 more (6 more if you have the ascension perk that adds +2 boxes)... you can stack 100+ silver boxes then play and get them back to back for big bonuses
You can hoard the silver boxes if you get on just to get the coin bonuses and box bonus then close the game and when you sign back in the silver boxes will still be available to stack with another +4 silver box bonus
DF's voice is insanely satisfying I could watch anything as long as hes in it

My favorite of DF's clicker game rotation.
Upgrading everything gives alot of bounces to cps. It really makes a diffrence.
Also you can get coin magnets like that so you dont have to jump so precise.
It’s funny when you already know what gear is coming up next
Tip: You don't need to click the boost button, just right click and it activates. Use it as much as possible along with the SP upgrades and you can get coin and soul boosts while going faster. Especially with the three arrow upgrade. Mows down the whole screen with your favorite auto-clicker.

When it come to equipment the first upgrade occurs at level 10 then they occur at every level 50 interval
Rounded Bulk Buy under accessibility settings might be one you want to enable, get those nice round 10s and 50s easily :D

Its interesting to see how far DF has gone in this game compared to myself. I just did my first Ultra Ascension yesterday. Now I have to rebuild my empire all over again. lol
hey DF! a little tip here
I've started playing Idle Slayer because of you, and I'm already at 20.154% ascension bonus
try going up to 800 slayer points per run, it's easier to get and takes around 1 day to get
also try going for the easier achievements, you'll find them at the bottom of the achievement list, they are super easy to do and they make your cps go up by a lot
Here is a cool thing i found out: you can use the settings, change time thing on this for quick rewards, but it still feels slow

Go look the list of achievement, buy max amount of gears and then come back to upgrade and click the buy all. There's an achievement to buy like 150 upgrades at once and you can only do it with the buy all button
When you got frenzy event use speed boost since you have upgrade from skill tree that Everytime time you pick up coin with speed boost it has double value

Getting more weapons of any type, no matter how rich, can give you the upgrade to have a better cook magnet to make it so it's very easy to not miss coins.
Boost while on frenzy is better because it got 2x and you should read achievement list it worth it.
Also invest in the satchel as soon as possible it’s 10000 soul points but you unlock a bunch of gear eventually

Well that’s not particularly true, after a while the numbers don’t go anywhere because he isn’t making enough money for the numbers to actually change, they are idol for as long as you leave them idol lol
DF is going to need a new super computer in order to keep up with all of these idol games
You should turn on rounded purchases. It makes easy numbers way easier because it buys up to the next rounded increment.

here is a tip, the more you upgrade your items the better kind of coin magnet you can have
Don't know if you'll see this, but in the settings there is an option to round up your equipment buy. So if you have 2 levels in a piece of gear and buy 10, it will buy 8 levels to round it to 10. Good QoL for OCD equipment levelling for the lower tier gear.
Each piece of gear has achievements for every 50 levels up to 500. Hidden among them are also other QoL upgrades like Magnet upgrades, which quickly become strong enough that you don't need to hop to get the coins in the bonus stage.
Speaking of bonus stage, use the bow on the goblins for max soul reaping.
Also there are a bunch of easy achievements you can get. Look around in the list, you can find them.
Addendum: Just a tip for the last stage of the bonus stage. You move fast enough at that point where you can jump *over* the box from the ground and still get the orbs if you hold the jump. If the pillar is the end of the loop you can also hold the jump at the end of it to land in at the beginning of the next set. That stage will only ever flip the order of the box and the pillar so finding the rhythm shouldn't be too hard once you know it. Either tap tap tap Hold tap, or tap hold tap hold.

if df actually 100% these games this channel would be like 5x better
Bonus Stage is tricky - it really helps when you light-click your jumps. Also, did you know you can mash through the bosses by clicking? That'll really help if you're time-crunching.
At this point you may aswell buy the archdemon to see if it does something for you, who knows, it may even give you a portal or summon it in the dimension your in.
Check the options tab and look at the bottom achievements they're really simple and easy to get so easy cps

Still waiting for DF to notice that Cps doesn't affect coin frenzies. It's the coin value bonus that does.

The demon is in the dark castle ... he is a golem like monster but give a lot of souls if defeated (i get most of the time +13 soul levels of it)
