It makes sense, I guess it's maybe true because that's what we do in loudspeaker's. Once burned-in, the connection points loosen, letting the driver move in and out more freely. the audio quality will likely be noticeably better after the burn-in process, though the improvement is generally gradual.
But that's in loudspeaker's so in theory I believe it does the same way in IEM.
In my experience burn in works. Simgot EM6L's earlier this year. They sounded better, which is to say really great, after 2 weeks of burn in at night hooked to my gaming PC. Burn in works.
It depends. Some are, some are not.
Listening to this in CCA Rhapsody
After burn-in is much smoother.
Thank you kz❤
Interesting video
I think I will try it with my kz zsn pro x, it will arrive in a few days.
Burn in does work, but will people like the sound after that? Nobody knows
maybe burn in makes a minimal difference in the sound, but its doesn´t bring a significant change of the sound. I use iems as monitors in a band (drummer).
Why does the talking person look like a clip ripped off from something else and slapped into this video? Is it some cheap AI or something?
Seems like some did and some didn't. Pretty interesting
First comment for winning one of other KZ IEM

Hi Dear KZ,
I am a firm believer of Burn-in and i completely agree with whatever is mentioned in the video at the same time!
Appreciate your efforts into educating the community about common myths in the hobby.
Love you guys ❤
It definitely work, cable, drivers, getting better on sound quality. Been audiophiles for 30 yrs and every tube amps, speaker cable and interconnect needs to burn in before the real sound really there, I'm pretty new on chifi but it seems the same as home high end set up unless either the cables or drivers shitty then it doesn't really make a differences....
I prefer not burn in them, the eq will change with time as well my eras will deteriorate so its going to be a equal path
