It went from the Beatles...Love love me do...to this! It blew our minds.
Although this came out over 50 years ago, production-wise it sounds like it could have been recorded 5 weeks ago. Page was an absolute genius.
Zeppelin has a terrific sense of humor that sets them apart from other bands, as well as their stellar musicianship.
They certainly had it`s called plagarism.

@@RC-lc8xl Who cares? numerous real song writers who took them to court they`ve spent more years fighting court cases than their actual career lasted. It`s not the fact they lacked originality but the fact that they claimed the songs as their own.

Their first album Jimmy wanted to hit you right between the eyes with the thunder, I told you about all the studio work bro with Burt Bacharach, The Stones etc etc....this album is when I got hooked on Pagey my guitar God, love that you are doing the entire album bro

I can't help but comment early. Youu're only halfway into the first song, loving it, and I'm thrilled that you're gonna do the whole bloody album! It's a foregone conclusion you'll dig at least 85% of what you'll be hearing here, lol! Some of it will send you over the moon, I expect. On Bonham's "quadrupwhateverthefuck" bass drum licks: Jimi Hendrix saw them early on in the USA, and said to Bonzo after the show: "Son, you got a right foot like a country jackrabbit!" Bet that made Bonzo's day, lol!

You definitely haven't reacted to 'Babe I'm gonna leave you' (unless it was blocked ofc).......At the time of recording Plant & Bonzo were 20 and Jimmy page was 24 & John Paul Jones was 22 (although at the time of release of the Album (Jan. '69) Page & Jones turn 25 & 23 as they were both born in January. Great review as always Rory ;-)

Jimmy did one song with the Stones and it was just released in 2020. Jimmy and JPJ were in demand session musicians. Jimmy has even played with rap artists who wanted to sample his stuff.

Page also played with a lot of bands in the studio when he was a session musician. Plant would have been just gone 20 on this album. He was born in on 20 August 1948 and this album was released in Jan 1969 but recorded in Sep and Oct 1968
approx 1/3rd of their music was accoustic
Robert did the cardinal sin for singers, he smoked cigarettes. Then in 74? (I think) he had a nodule removed from his vocal chords.
From what I have heard it is the video, not the audio that triggers the block. But I have never uploaded anything.But altering the video has worked for lots of people
