Residents in Paju, a South Korean city located near the border of North Korea, have grown increasingly concerned about escalating tensions threatening their livelihoods. Before South Korea intensified military activity along the demilitarised zone in June 2024, Paju was crowded with visitors eager for a peek at the isolated North. Tensions have risen since North Korea sent hundreds of balloons carrying trash over the border.

I don't think there's gonna be a war anytime soon. Every single time whenever there's high tensions, it eventually de-escalates. This loop has been going on for so many decades and it's crazy how many people are falling for it.

South Korean organizations (formed by escapees from the north) sent relief supplies through balloons to North Korea, whereas North Korean government sent piles of trash in response, so it’s not feasible to call it a “retaliation.”

I see he said this decade but maybe he meant the last decade,,. In the last decade, since 2014, the US has been responsible for so many deaths not only through wars but also sanctions and using proxies to fight for them. As many as 40,000 people may have died in Venezuela as a result of US sanctions that made it harder for ordinary citizens to access food, medicine and medical equipment, a new report has claimed
Look at how many have died in Afghanistan or Syria or Iraq because of U.S and Western illegal sanctions.
Then we go back to this. 27 million Muslims killed due to US war on terror.
Undisputed UN figures show that 1.7 million Iraqi civilians died due to the West’s brutal sanctions regime, half of whom were children.

Imagine being so dumb to not know about the fact that North Korea's still existing, and has at least some military equipment available for them, as China invests its own resources to NK, including military support from them to North Korea.
Even though there IS some military gear being produced in North kroea itself, but North Korea still uses only Chinese support instead, as China's military gear appears to be way more efficient in comparsion with the outdated gear that's being produced in North Korea itself.
So basically, if you'd get the Chinese support away from DPRK, it'd be left with an extremely outdated gear to use and not that much useful military force now. Difference? None, except the country that lets North Korea to quite literally exist nowadays in some form.
