Great observation with the button for the brightness adjustment, that is my one gripe. I have one of these on my staccato C2 with 4800 rounds through it and have not had a problem otherwise though. I like it better than the RMR for the ease of battery swap and the shake awake. And I’m not really a fan of the holosuns use of the 1632 battery and the fact that you need a tool to slide their batt tray out. Also find this to be the largest window + clearest glass, outside of the Trijicon SRO
I went with the deltapoint mainly because it has a large window and I can access the battery from the top without unmounting it from the gun. The auto wakeup ia a nice plus as well.
Yeah, I agree - that button placement for brightness and on / off is inconvenient at best. I much prefer buttons on the side so that you can see what’s happening while adjusting it. I prefer my Holosun SCS - simpler and makes more sense in every way.
My Delta Point 6mil is a year old and I'm sending it back in for the 2nd time . The sight won't even turn now. The first time the dot would come on then shut down for 10 minutes at a time so Leupold put a new circuit board in there . It's only been about 3 months since they did the repair now it's gone tits up again.
Another issue I'm having is the shake awake function doesn't work consistently. When it doesn't illuminate, I have difficulty getting the reticle to illuminate. The only way is to remove the battery and reinstall. Works perfect the next 8-10 uses after the "reboot" ¿¿¿
@@warweaponx6629I have dropped and bumped them, for years. It's interesting how different experiences occur. Did you send yours for warranty or anything?
@@DennyBass I have almost 30k round in total through all 3 of my 507C-X2-ACSS. I've been using them in USPSA and 2Gun for over almost 2 years now . One of the dudes I shoot with has over 50k on his . I do not abuse my tools but they get pretty banged up . Only issue I've had was auto mode in 1 of then stopped working but that happened right out of the box . Manual mode worked perfectly fine . I will stop using them if and when I start having significantl issues . That just hasnt happened and hopefully it doesn't.
Problem with the Trij RMR is that you have to remove it to swap batteries. And you're smart for ditching factory thread lock. You never know how long that stuff has been sitting around. Infact my Sons Trij popped off after 3 rds and it was appropriately torqued. They sent him new screws, told him to clean the threads and apply new blue lock. Problem solved. Pros and cons with all of this stuff I guess.
I was told to purchase an optic plate for the delta point pro because I ran out of adjustment to move my dot on my M17 does anyone know where I can purchase one or how to fix the dot?
I may just be weird but I found to really like the middle button just cause you can still see the dot looking in from the side but I also have considerably small hands
you learn to work with it not complain or get mad about it. i have a delta point pro on my cz competition. it’s a sweet dot and half the price of an sro
I'm to the point where I know the DDP so well I don't have to look while adjusting the brightness. Idk maybe I had gotten 2 very good DDP'S. Hold the button for 3 seconds and it goes the opposite way for brightness. I usually dial it 1 down during the night and 1 up during the day....
I have one that's been shot so much the glass is pitted so bad from blowback you can hardly see through it but it's never come loose or failed in 30,000 plus rounds
Today I had a new fde delta pro show up from optics planet, right out of the box it's a dud, tried 3 batteries trying my best to give it an excuse, all it does is flash and then dead , back to holosun
Same here, how did you resolve the issue? I called Leupold and they want to repair it, I told them no repair, send me a brand new non refurbished item. Still waiting for their reply, I'm most likely going to open a case with my CC company and force them to either send me a new replacement or get a refund. Advise, never buy red dots from Staccato or Leupold directly. Get them from Amazon, if they don't work, Amazon will reimburse no questions asked.
I have the same optic and I agree with the illumination adjustment location. I also have issues when I press the button it's very easy to touch the lens and get fingerprints and smudges on the lens.
I’ve heard the 365xl can feel snappy to some. Any thoughts on that? I’m carpenter use my hands all day. I wouldn’t think the snappiness would bother me as much as it would bother others.
@@northjerseykevin409 The regular P365 is pretty snappy but it doesn't bother me. My 14 year old son shoots it all the time with no issue and he isn't a big kid. The XL is more easily managed. Mine is the Spectre Comp with a light and an optic and it shoots great.
Vibratite is so much better than loctite. Especially for finer threaded screws.
That is what I used- VC3. I am big fan for these kind of applications.

Trijicon RMR and Holosun 507C-X2-ACSS are the only 2 MRDS I havent had issues with . Therefore those are the only ones I use
Drop or bump the Holosun and you’ll see why I don’t trust them. Despite Sage dynamics drop test they did not hold zero for me.

My holosun just fell out of a chair onto wood flooring and broke. Cheap Chinese garbage.

My Trijicon light adjustments are nigh to impossible to change without A LOT OF FORCE.
My Son said the same thing about his. I like Trijicon, we have their ACOG but after everything Ive seen, I'm leaning towards a Deltapoint for the Sig.
My dpp is garbage. Dot fuzzes out. Sent back to Leupold 3 times to fix. It’s doing it again. I’m getting it fixed and selling !!!!!

Nice, I’m not sure if I want the p320 or the 365xl. Any advice?
The P320 is a WAY larger gun than the P365XL. I think the entire P365 line is very compact whereas the P320 is more of a full-sized duty weapon.
X macro is a good in between

the brightness will change on mine when i'm shooting. lost the dot completely half way through a stage at USPSA matches

My battery latch sheared off. In a drop
What sig build is that?
Spectre Comp Carry I think. It is either the carry or compact. I have both.
You found someone that makes a holster for this gun
Werkz makes a great one. I have one IWB and one OWB. Excellent option.
Locktite
That sig custom works is bad ass!!!
Leupold DeltaPoint Pro Dead on Arrival for me. Never buying their junk again.
