Getting ready for church 39 weeks pregnant with baby # 6

- The ONLY reason it’s not more chaotic in the morning when leaving for church, is cause it’s not the morning. 😂 We go to mass in the afternoon so we have been up and ready for a while before it’s time to go. 😝
Sunday mornings use to be absolute chaos for us back when we led the church choir! Tim and I met doing the music for our church choir back in high school (he played the guitar and I sang). We then ended up doing that very choir (and in the last few years becoming the directors of it) for 20 years!!!
We were leading the choir when we had our first 3 babies. Once I got pregnant with baby # 4 we realized it was too much and stopped. It was the first time in 20 years where we got to just sit in mass and not stress about anything. Well anything related to the mass, we definitely still got stressed with the kids at times 🙈
So since we stopped doing the choir we have made it a point to take our Sunday mornings slow and calm. We have paid our dues! 😜
So if you are someone who goes to church earlier please know there would be a lot more “let’s go!!!!” and “Get your shoes on NOW!” If we were heading to the earlier service as well. We just go so late and even then it’s still a rush some Sundays!
Also, the house is always a mess when we leave too. 😉

Chaos chaos chaos! I get it. Going to mass is so hard with all of the kids and yet rewarding and the example will pay off. Most Sundays we get to mass realizing someone has on crocs with their nice pants, or no jacket when it’s freezing. 2 weeks ago my youngest of 5 got nurse-maids elbow during the consecration when being picked up. We ended up at the hospital and I still had my oldest on the alter serving. NEVER a dull moment with 5, almost 6 kids!!

I’m older now so it’s more up to me when I or we leave, but when I was younger we were always the “late” kids, either showing up just in time for clean up or just a bit to late during the song lol
Do you vaccinate your children? As a mom of 2 I want to hear your opinion about vaccinations and as a Catholic myself I believe that God made us without flaws so why inject our kids with heavy metals and chemicals?
We do morning mass at 9 a.m. Thankfully we live 5 minutes from our church. My 2 girls wake up at about 6.45 every morning so it's not too bad for us but number 3 is arriving soon so we'll be back to rushing as I try to fit in a good feed before we leave so I don't have to do it during Mass!

I was a SAHM with my kids. My husband worked long days and when he got home he… ??? Did his part??? If you’re all about yourself you’ll never be happy. He stood by me through a double organ transplant and I by him during brain surgery. Try to get the spirit of my message instead of playing semantics. Are you married dear? Do you have children? Or are you just looking for something to argue about? I believe we can all see the answer

I need to switch to a later Mass. I felt so awful (35 weeks with moderate/ severe SPD) and stressed this past Sunday that we watched the Mass on live TV instead and I feel awful. My husband was telling me that it’s ok if we go later in the day and I feel like this video is another sign to do that!

I'm 39 weeks pregnant with baby 2. Right now it's just been me and my toddler for the past 5 months 💀. I'm a military spouse so I've been going solo. Funnily enough that makes Sunday mornings and getting to church easier because I'm a morning person and my husband very much is not! 😂
Haaaa....our house is reserved...I'm so not a morning person and hubby is...but he's stuck working Sundays haaa. Our 3 year old loves to sleep in bc she's a night owl. Getting us both up and dressed plus have done and appropriately dressed is a struggle every week. I boil eggs while I'm in the shower and she always just eats at church bc there's no time for breakfast and we're usually 45min late haaaa. 17 weeks pregnant w no. 2. Lord help us haa

I love to see all the young families bringing their children to church. I remember those days! The impact is worth it. Your training them up to live Gods house and it’s awesome to see the joyful vibe at your house. Perfection is never the goal. Pursuit of relationship with God is!!❤️❤️

Never missed a Sunday unless out of town, really I'll, from cradle to 18 same big church. Loved it, the people. My choir. My trio, piano with organ, I moved away..it was part of my life.
I think we are going to start doing this! At least in the summer, try and go to Saturday Mass. the sun is still “up” when we finish so it’s not chaos for the kids.

I was hoping to see that after so many births you'd maybe go into labor at 38 weeks 😆 my first was 42 weeks and I was induced and I am 29 weeks pregnant with my second hoping I will go around 38 spontaneously. Wish me luck 🤞🏻

We have 5 kids 7, 5, 4, 2, and 7 months. Mass for us is about an hour away and we have to leave the house about 7:30 to get there in time for confession and then mass.

I went to the evening mass this past Sunday and the church was SO hot it took everything in me to not leave. I’m almost 30 weeks pregnant and almost passed out. Needless to say I booked it out of there right after communion 😂

Your belly 😍🥰 so precious! Your family is so sweet. I remember when all mine were that little and I had 5 , 8yo down to newborn. It was so stress and full for me ❤️ there are many times I wish I didn’t get so upset or overwhelmed but we created so many precious memories. It’s so much different now that the olders are 14 down to almost 6 in a few weeks and the “baby” is 1 and I’m due in December! Enjoy all those precious moments. I love now that my kids are older and we talk all the time (we homeschool since oldest was K) I couldn’t imagine if my kids were in school. I’d miss them so much! lol I always look back and cry when I think how fast they are growing right before me , like I just had my baby and she’s now 14. 😭 where does the time go!? Time shows no favoritism. We need to make the most of our days , live for Jesus and disciple and teach our children to love God with all their heart souls and minds! ❤

Im 40 weeks and 3 days! Need this baby kicked out 😭 someone give me tips 😣 my first came out quick and on time.
Ask your doctor/midwife for a membrane sweep! That’s what put me into labor. You can also drink huge amounts of raspberry leaf tea but that one is more “maybe”.
“How to induce labor exercises” here in CZcams. Look for the ones you can safely practice and you feel comfortable doing.
I stressed with my second thinking she would come early because my first was on time. She ended up only being a day late but I didn't go into labour until I accepted that she was coming in her own time. 😅 I had a stretch and sweep which helped and went on a long walk plus bouncing on an exercise ball and doing hip stretches to help baby's head descend. Wishing you a safe delivery and healthy baby ❤

Hey there. I think I am seeing your channel for the first time today (although you look familiar so I must have seen your content before), and wanted to say that I love your backyard. Between the sunshine, the water and your decor, it looks so inviting. And, what looks to be a private “sidewalk” for bike riding is just genius. The only thing missing is a sparkling blue pool in that open patch of grass 😊.

I grew up with large families as our friends.
One time our really good friend's (who had 7 children at the time) son some how managed to get to Christmas service with very bright, multi-colored, striped socks, LOL. It was hilarious.

We aren't Catholic, but we are Christians (I know it's very similar, but also different). I have a 4 year old daughter, a 2 year old son, I'm 32 weeks pregnant with number three, and I have no idea how you do it! I bow down to you, queen! 😅
We go to a very small non-denominational church, and we are very blessed to live less than 2 miles away 😂 It takes less than 5 minutes to get there.
I serve in the kid's ministry 2x/month, and during "season" (Nov-May) we have 2 service times on Sundays - 9am & 10:30am - and I only ever go to the 10:30am and then watch the service on CZcams later in the day during the kid's nap time because I can never get out the door in time to go to the 9am service before serving in the nursery at 10:30am. Unfortunately, now that it's off-season, we are back to one service time at 9:30am, and it's SO hard getting out the door in time! My fellow kid's team just knows when I'm on the schedule, I'm rolling in at 9:35 or 9:40 🙈
My husband and oldest are early risers. Praise God because my son and I are NOT morning people! My son and I will sleep in until like 9:30 am if we are able to, so Sunday mornings are difficult for us getting up at 7am to have enough time to get ready.
This pregnancy has been SO hard for me! Much harder than my other ones. I feel guilty a lot because our kid's pastor and his wife are also expecting, and she's 4 weeks ahead of me (she's weeks) and they have a 1 year old and she's still moving and grooving like usual while I'm over here huffing and puffing just from walking and breathing 🥴😂
However, I am grateful for a supportive and understanding church family, and especially for God's grace. He knows our hearts and doesn't hold it against us if we are rushing indy church a few minutes late or even staying home and watching the service online. I know this is just a difficult season, and one day in the near future, the kids will be a bit older and more independent, and it will be much easier to get out the door on time. I just need to work on giving myself more grace 🙏❤

We attend Mass at 7:00am. We are raising our 13 year old grandson, so it’s just one kid to get out the door in a hurry. Back when we were raising our 7 kids we went to Mass at 11:00. There was no way I could’ve had all of them out the door to an early Mass. 😅
