I now have my two baby locks I was talking to you about on here the other week. I’ve had the Euphoria and the Acclaim as well and I’m beyond happy. I’ve been cover stitching everything in sight 😂. Like you I’ve just had a complete change around in my sewing room I promise I’m not just copying there must be something in the air.

Well planned out sewing room. I love that we have many of the same sewing baskets, even though we live in different countries. As my Newcastle granny would say, across the pond from each other. We live in an old four bedroom house, and I've had my sewing room on three of those bedrooms.
Great ideas wherever we are in the world x
Lovely room Alison..it’s so nice to have the space to move around in….when my sons left home we made the largest spare room into my sewing room and I love it….we put in a sofa bed just in case we have guests..only problem with a bigger room is that you start to fill it with more sewing goodies…enjoy your new space ❤😊

New sewing room looks great - I have a projector on the ceiling with possibly a similar height to you and it works fine. I do have to move my fabric and pattern around if I’m cutting out something long like trousers but otherwise it’s great. The projectors for sewing Facebook group is a great resource with lots of friendly help. Good luck to your daughter and what a beautiful area of France to go for holidays - I’m sure you’re already planning your next visit. X

Wow Alison that is a lovely upgrade, I remember when your sewing space was a tiny area near your front door. I am definitely aiming to get a cutting out table, our dining table gives me backache!

Thanks for the sewing room tour, Alison. You'll hardly know yourself with so much space to rattle around in! My sewing room (I know I'm lucky to have it) is long and narrow. I still have to cut out on the dining table. You must've felt the cold on your return from Antibes. I'd swap today's 9°C for 23°C like a shot.

Lovely to see your wee trip and your new sewing space! I’m in the middle of reorganising mine - it’s a bit tight as trying to build furniture in a storage area is difficult but we’ll get there!
