- Weird Florida news: Dramatic video shows a car crashing into the storefront of a Little Caesars Pizza in Lake City, Florida. Brittany Charles said she had just walked up to the counter to grab pizza for her kids and babysitter when she heard a loud bang. “As soon I was, like, "Can I get a $5 pizza?' it was just a big loud bang. Glass was everywhere,” she said. “I didn’t know what was going on behind me. I just ran to the corner.” Photos show debris covering the floor inside the store - right where she was standing.

Can we take a moment to realize how lucky they ALL were? Red shirt was just out of place of everything, the young girl just got tripped and her mother just out of reach of the rubble, and blue shirt got to move up just in time by the second to be away from it all and being the one severely injured.

Back in the mid 1980s when I worked for Burger King a tractor trailer semi crashed through the playground, through the front doors and stopped right at the front cash. I was on vacay that week but on my return I found the whole front of my job boarded up. My co-workers said the impact was so intense that it sent glass from the front flying all the way to the rear dining area. This was in Lagrange, Georgia about 1987. Sorry about all this here at Little Caesar's and I sincerely hope nobody was hurt!

Both of them got extremely lucky.
In the end you can see them walk away fine, small limp but definitely not broken.
Probably torn and pulled tho and that usually hurts the most the following days.

She indeed did get hurt bad, l think it is a fracture or severe pulled foot. (torn muscles)
I watched it again in slow motion.
You can see her stumbling away, but the left foot is hurt.
It would depend on how badly hurt you are, to not being able to walk.
I had a pretty bad injury to my ankle band and my foot, l tore my muscle and my ankle band completely, (Friends lifted me l could not put weight on that foot) (And l was intoxicated) noy even then could l stand, that's how bad it hurt, couldn't walk on it for 3 months.
My father however broke his ankle.
No matter what we tried, he was not capable of putting any weight on it.
My spouse had a metal 150 pound metal piece fall on the left foot, walking and standing was no option.
This girl is extremely lucky, despite her being injured, the wall stopped that car.
I hope she has no chronic damage from this.

It’s amazing that they ladies in line moved up right before the car came in. Like 3 seconds earlier and who knows how the lady in blue could have ended up.
I remember working out at a gym with a friend when this type of incident happened. It was loud and it took me a second to process that an old lady just rammed the front of the building and I was like 15 ft away. Crazy stuff man.
