The 'singer' isn't a real person, per-se. The vocals themselves were taken from a real person, but its a computer program designed for singing. So, unless I misinterpereted what you said, the "her" you refer to is actually a program. So more acurately, you like 'it', since its not really a 'her'. Without over-complicating things, basically, the singing in this vid is all synthesized. There wasn't an actual person who was singing this. (ah, the wonders of technology :P)
