Personally I didn't grow up with this song and I first heard it recently but you can immediately tell that it's inspired tons of people. The song has such a genuine sound and even if I don't understand the lyrics it makes me emotional simply cause it's a song that drags you back in time. It's a beautiful PV and song and I'm so thankful it exists

What an excruciatingly beautiful song. It almost always makes me cry even though I don't understand the lyrics because the melody and vocals are so profoundly evocative, and the pain behind them too honest not to be felt, regardless of the listener's language. Eleven years later, Celluloid remains a masterpiece as far as I'm concerned.

この楽曲が公開された当時はスマホはなかったけど、今なら「スマホには撮り溜めた写真や動画の思い出を共有しているので、そこから伺える主人の葛藤や思いを感じ取る初音ミク」感がある。本人しか知らない情報が詰まってるスマホに住んでるから、言いたいこと、伝えたいこと、私は気づいてることがこんなにもあるのに、画面の内側から感情を出せないので、ただそっと見つめる感じがする。
