Barteg I would say 1 large man could do it. Not a super buff guy or anything, but someone big enough to grip the size of it, the 40 pounds part wouldn’t be too challenging.
It's funny that this is actually what I did with it. I live in a very small flat, and instead of buying a table and a case I just bought this and it doubles as both for roughly the same price as they would be separately
I would use the case for my gaming system (1x GTX 1080) and isolate it so that it runs at ~5 °C to then use it as a fridge so I can store about 20 cans of soda in it and don't have to go to the kitchen while gaming. So it would be a nice Gaming-RGB-Fridge, the first fridge in the world with iCUE support :D
watching this in 2020, This honestly seems like the perfect setup for me. I don't need water quad graphics cards but to serve as a NAS for my house plex server, and play PC games while streaming to twitch while using plex in another part of the house while not having space in my room for multiple PC's this looks like a great option. Especially when i don't need top of the line parts to do any of those tasks. This PC as it sits now is probably a $10k build in 2020.

You may think that, til you get the case. I wasnt prepared for how big it actually is. It dwarfs my full size towers, and my desk cant accomodate it. And thats not mentioning the weight. A dual system build in it, even without water cooling, is going to be HEAVY
Something to save up for so I can do a shit ton of video editing. Pair this with a gigabit up and down internet connection, and you can do some serious work with this

james wasda lmao most likely everything will be super small because it will be smaller and more powerful as technology improves plus holographic possibly
Well yes and no... A computer this powerful might fit on a wrist watch size 40 years in the future. However, a top of the line home computer in the future will probably be the same size. In the 80s when my dad built his first computer, it was top of the line for home computers at the time, but it was still around the same size as modern home computers. The thing is, in the future, I think everyone will have a home server computer that will work as a mainframe, and then they'll just have input output devices with them at all time. So at that point in the future, you'll be carrying a touch screen with a battery and an antenna, and that's all you'll need.

I would use the system to perform finite element analyses that take my working laptop anywhere from ~15 minutes to three hours per separate trial to complete for simple to complex 3D models in Creo Parametric. A system like this could run multiple iterations of FEM analyses as well as random excitation analyses, which would have been perfect for certain projects I've worked on. On top of that, it would not impede on my productivity, so while the analyses are running, I could use it to continue to model, or leisurely game while I wait. One can dream...
cataria pega yes I needed a case that would house two 560mm radiators. I have two hwlabs 560mm black ice sr1 radiators with 140mm fans running at 700 rpm - they are cooling 6950x and two evga 1080 TIs. Silence was my number 1 priority, and everything needed to be housed inside the case - sm8 fit the bill.
With a case that large, 1 vs 1 with a friend wont require and bedsheet or cardboard trickery to prevent one person looking at another's screen. Just launch that gentle giant in between the two and you've got the 2018 version of cardboard delineated splitscreen.
A scaled back version of this would be nice for couples that game together. While its big it would still be easier to move around for lan parties that couple goes to. It would take up less space than two Cases under or on top of a desk in this situation.

Theatre/live performance work is the application that came to my mind. to have near-silent operation and relative compactness is a plus, the beefier system would be ideal for any production involving projection mapping, while the secondary system could be running Q-lab or ETC's Nomad software. That said, this would be one extremely well off theatre that would implement a system like this, and any touring production would probably prefer a rack-mounted system.
if it's just as much as 2 cases you might as well get this when you're ready to water cool everything because it looks a hell of a lot cooler than any single case i know of
4 years in, I graduates from Medschool and just got one of this bad Boys. It is a beast. Just waiting the 4090 and Ryzen 7000 to launch to finalize it.

I desperately hope i get a job that requires this kind of CUDA horsepower with long run times while I can switch to an ideal high end single GPU gaming. If work fund it. I quite like CUDA development.
They can put whatever hardware they wanted in the case for both the itx and atx formfactor areas, they just wanted to know who would use a dual system setup in one case, and I think the streamers could benefit immensely from this kind of dual-in-one case setup.
its not quad 1080's they are quad quadros nvidia's business/workstation line of gpus the second build was never intended for gaming its for things like 3D rendering etc

It’s too weak, it’ll run 20 fps
Man, those dual towers and clear tubing with different colors makes this rig look like it comes straight out of high budget science fiction.
Ultra streaming BEAST!!!!!
What happened to your hair!?
What do you mean? It‘s Water!
What do you mean? It's wind!
What do you mean? It's Earth!
+Sakura What do you mean it's ...fuck
Captain planet!👊
this ain't nothing short of like gamer heaven indeed.
From tunnel bear to underwear 🤣
Finally some one noticed xD
I would use it for a dual gaming PC setup. so that when friends come over they have their own PC to play on.
ahh, just imagine if I wake up one day and this is in front of my door step, all mine. LOL
if it's just as much as 2 cases you might as well get this when you're ready to water cool everything because it looks a hell of a lot cooler than any single case i know of
Corsair: Hey look our case has 8 SSD slots!
Phanteks: another one *Release Evolv X*
I would build an Aquarium inside the Corsair Slate. With the PC all around it on the sides and bottom and the fishes in the middle.
gpu and ram is getting expensive because of linus😉
Its been expensive for quite some time. Not a good time for PC builders...
Nah, still because of those miners.
simtitan1 and I love that people thought the prices would return by the beginning of 2018. It’s may and they are still inflated as fuck.
4 years in, I graduates from Medschool and just got one of this bad Boys. It is a beast. Just waiting the 4090 and Ryzen 7000 to launch to finalize it.
I wanna build my rig in around 2 years time... So I am going to the company who *slated* this case for greatness.
*Me to Corsair:*
You are the best!
*Also me, but to NZXT:*
I'm sorry to say that I'm going to *Corsair* henceforth.
BTW, *LINUS IS THE BEST!!!!!*
I desperately hope i get a job that requires this kind of CUDA horsepower with long run times while I can switch to an ideal high end single GPU gaming. If work fund it. I quite like CUDA development.
I would use it because... street cred, bro
1 side gaming the other side small system for stream and mini fridge for xtra coolness for your rig and drinks
I think streamers would use this the most by far.
Precisely.
BILLABONGSTEFANO yeah more cores
They can put whatever hardware they wanted in the case for both the itx and atx formfactor areas, they just wanted to know who would use a dual system setup in one case, and I think the streamers could benefit immensely from this kind of dual-in-one case setup.
its not quad 1080's they are quad quadros nvidia's business/workstation line of gpus the second build was never intended for gaming its for things like 3D rendering etc
I’m working on a streaming rig that is using unraid. It seems like it’s a cheaper and slightly faster on the encode handoff
PC plus a Hackintosh
Brendan Graham You can do that on any system, just dual boot.
Kristián Kalmár you can in a VM system
but with specific hardware and some limitations
5:25 Leaking Blue Fluid on top left?
Bro there is no leaking
That was a spill outside of the case from pouring.
I like your profile picture ! Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan

Pro streamers: *builds two computers for gaming and streaming*

You truly are the worst of the worst😂
Wait only 8K? It’s all about 16K 30-50 FPS now

Java can be a cruel mistress.

33 teraflops of hentai😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
you mean terabytes?
@@kennedymoreiras3054 nope, teraflops
Daniel-John McFarling I thought that was a measure of performance though, for like gpus.
Moe like treafaps
I don't think you know what a teraFLOP is.
A FLOP in computer terms is a FLoating point OPeration.
A teraFLOP is 1,000,000,000,000 FLOPS.
ill use it for youtube ... probably and gaming ... show boating . you know all the important things in life haha love you guys
Linus tech tips : the best place for pc porn
