From the moment he walked out on stage it was if he had given me back the magic of my childhood on a silver plate. I will never forget that feeling. There really has never been a day in my life since my childhood when I have not thought of him.

I love it when actors who are not renowned for their singing skills are given the chance to sing, because some of them really do show a fairly well hidden talent. One of my favourites who has done this is Meryl Streep, I really think she could equally have been famous as a singer, as well as an actor. Of course, it helps that I have become a bigger fan of hers the older I get. Peter O'Toole and Sophia Loren did a wonderful job with that song in the Man from La Mancha.
