Here's a playthrough of the challenging secret world in Croc, which you can access by getting 100% on the previous 4 worlds.
This game varies from stiff physics to slippery physics when it comes to platforming.

I remember spending my time making little clay gobo's, loved this game as a kid, pity it got cracked and wont go part the first level now. T_T

Ah, I haven't played this game for over 6 years and I still remember it perfectly espeacially that last boss, it took me a year to find out how to beat him XD
When I played these secret levels I was like "Everyone wants to kill me!"

Great graphics, awesome controls THAT WORK, and a story that an eight year old can get into. Man, this game was great. I have the PC and PS version of this because it was THAT awesome.
this game has the best music ever. It was the first game I had for my playstation way back in the 90's, and I thought the graphics were incredible. Ahhhhh, memories.

Thank god for having a PS1 AND a N64 as a kid. Got the best of both worlds, as it were.

I used to play this when I was younger. lol all the sound effects bring back the memories. Unfortunately, I lost the disc. If I hadn't lost it, I would probably be playing it right now.

It IS the same guy. Story: In the last castle level known as "Baron Dente's Funky Inferno" Croc defeats the Baron and makes him disappear. Croc and the gobbos had a celebration party to celebrate victory. This was not the end. What's left of the baron ( A medium sized ghost made of stone and crystals.) flees to his secret island which is guarded by what's left of his men.
XD I remeber this game first came out when I was 4 and I always played it! this game is awsome! X3
Heh, when Croc stomps to the well it sounds like he's saying "SISÄÄN!" which is Finnish for "Come in!" :D
That Trail on the Nile effort was horrendous 🙈😂
I was also suprised by the shortage of crystals, in a world made of crystals, I had in my supply during the fight against a guy made of crystals, and how the end is just croc getting more crystals. The game was great, but they could of made the boss much better, the only thing that made it worth while was how adorable croc looked putting the puzzles pieces together. Wait a minute... Jailhouse croc...... JAILHOUSE ROCK! OMG I just got that!

The Desert was the hardest for me, always! God I hated those lvls!..but now I miss them :'((
What are we doing with mw3, fifa 12 gears of war3 and battlefield 3 when we could have had this :(

Games like Croc will never comeback... if anything, only cheap knock-off's that call themselves "inspired by".

i dont know if anyone realised but theres a loophole in the game; in the snow island theres a level that gives u bonus hearts, just keep going back to it until you have like 99 lives then youre sorted
If you didnt have this game as a child you had a deprived childhood

you can't save once you get 100% it takes you back to the main menu why
you unlock the secret world by doing the following:
get 6 gobbos in 3 levels, before the boss, making a total of 18 gobbos. If done correctly. you'll unlock a secret area. Do this in the 4 worlds, and before you know it, you'll unlock the secret world
@Joshorty The soundtrack of the game is the game itself. It's double-packaged ;) You can find it at the Sound Options menu.
This was the first video game I ever played and it is still my favorite game ever. My playstation 2 won't read playstation games cuz its old. It makes me SO mad.
I loved croc back when i was five tempted to try and get the game again actually :P

Soz. I didn't get to finsish my story. Here it is: The barren fights croc with the last of his strength. (Shooting sparks at him like he did in Barren Dente's Funky Inferno.) Croc hits all the gongs which are keeping the barrne alive. The barren then explodes in a shower of gems. That was the end of legend of the gobbos. But was it the end of Baren Dente? Find out in Croc 2!

Yeah. In fact, I wish they released a soundtrack of this game...I'd so buy it. Or even for iTunes if that's what it takes..as long as the copy protection isn't there...

The first Version (Sega Saturn i think) was released in 1995.
@lilkani48 well theres that but i prefer cd quality. i then realized not only my friend has the pc version but the pc version is more true to what you said - it's a game and a actual CD soundtrack at the same time, as in u can pop the pc disk in a cd player and it plays the soundtrack. i'm still in the works of getting the tracklist names right. after that, i'll rip it to available 320kbps mp3 and mp4 whoever wants :D
and what happened with croc's little brother? because he appeared in the final of croc 2 after you defeat dantini with the airplane.
I loved this when I was a kid... Still do, although I don't have it anymore. :/ I remember there were some seriously weird stuff in some parts... And Dante. I mean, heck, I never could beat him... and this is probably the scariest kids' game ever. :D btw, is my memory wrong or was there some kind of secret corridor full of the reaper-like enemies in Dante's place?

I've always found this to be an excellent game! As far as the final levels go, 5-3 Trial on the Nile always gave me the hardest time. Also, I've always wondered, what's up with the lava in the last two rooms of 5-2 Diet Brrrrr; shouldn't it be the ice-water used on the regular Ice Island levels?
it took me about a month to figure out how to kill that red balloon ghost thing...
I could've sworn there was a Water World at one point...I don't know...
No you just need all of the Gobbos in the game and have collected all of the secret puzzle pieces.

The levels are soooo hard and I still play it even if I'm already 13 lol!

some sort of man that you blow up so you can blast doors. but be careful which door you blast! when you go through one you cant go back!
