Thanks Matt, your contents are simple, concise, and very informative. I really like them. Just a note, it would have been more handy if you had posted the links to the websites in the description section.
Great video Matt, I never would have thought of checking my local gov data! Would love to see how you typically approach a project with data sourced online.
I'm glad this was helpful! Once I have a dataset, I like to come up with as many questions as I can think of about the data. I put myself in the shoes of someone who has a vested interest in the data. From there, I begin answering those questions in my working analysis. Once I have a thorough set of answers from the data, I edit the final project down to only the answers that are most relevant and useful. This helps keep everything concise and connected. I actually covered this in a prior video too :) czcams.com/video/tV5t0OwLD60/video.htmlsi=wndUFuQvyFvwxLU7 Hope that helps!
Glad to hear that you're finding useful data sets within our Maven Data Playground! Love all the data set recommendations that you shared in the video! Super helpful.
Thank you very much, this is so helpful! Do you have a video on how to put all this tabular data into a relational database to make an SQL project for my portfolio?
Thank you! I'd say they're very closely related. The main difference being that you want to find data more complimentary to that role. In my experience, that was working with a lot of financial data.
