This is my favorite song. I think it is one of her best.
You know how sometimes you hear an artist, and it just touches some part of your soul. You find yourself swimming in their voice and lost in the current of their creation, for me, this is one of those times. Thank you for that feeling Sarah.
All of everyone my age is out having fun, while I'm sitting here, crying listening to this song, remembering the good days I had with my dad.

Yesterday I walked the mile home from college at 2am in the pouring rain. I was angsting about life and work and time and it's swiftness but just as I got to the riverside this song came on my iPod, and I just stopped in the middle of the bridge and listened, paused. Those words, 'wait it out' drew me back in to a larger perspective that I'd forgotten existed, and I walked the rest of the way home smiling.

I'm tired of "being on top. Everybody tries to be on top, I used to made myself to be the #1.When I saw that I was the #2, I was upset. But then I calm down, listen to this song, take deep breathe, and relax. More much comfortable than sweatly trying to be on top. I know how exactly myself is. My head is filled with so much doubt right now. I never thought I would attend college, but here I am, 26 and two years in. Aspiring teacher and social worker, almost there. I love helping people, especially children, our future. I feel like this semester has been derailed because of one course that I will have to retake. It's frustrating to know that my hard work will not quite pay off this semester. This song brings me hope as I study for my remaining finals tonight. Here's to hoping. :)
